Product Description
A work of fiction with Gothic undertones shifting between present-day and colonial New England, "Memoirs of a Shape-Shifter" contains within the third-person narrative of Nikki Helmik the found journal of her ancestor, Anne Cleves, written strikingly in first-person. A dramatic story of love, loss, and Druid magic, Anne's journal strangely echoes Nikki's own struggle to resolve the crises in her life. Haunted and inspired by her ancestor, Nikki becomes a Druid magician, resolving for herself the deadly attraction between power and love. This psychological exploration of a woman's all-too-contemporary personal upheaval oscillates between realism and romance, contemplative drama and adventure story, replete with Druid magicians, centuries-old curses, wolves, ravens, and the mystery of a broken brooch. Down Gloucester's narrow streets, deep into Dogtown woods, teetering on granite cliffs and plunged into stormy North Atlantic seas, the reader is drawn into a labyrinth in which the age-old war of the sexes is given a new twist.

Memoirs of a Shape-Shifter.......2007-07-14
Nikki Helmik is a woman who is used to getting whatever she wants from men. At a very young age, Nikki experienced abuse at the hands of her father and watched her mother turn from a vibrant woman into her father's slave. From then on, she vowed never to allow a man into her heart. So with the help of her mentor Rose, Nikki learned how to use men for her personal satisfaction and to increase her social standing. A series of strange events, however, would change the way Nikki viewed her mother as well as her own love and power issues.
Memoirs of a Shape-Shifter is actually three stories in one, each with a correspondingly different feel and attitude. The first story is about Nikki and takes place in the present day. This story has a slow unhurried almost Victorian feel with the every present attitude that men are just sources of wealth and status. The second story is about Nikki's mother. This account is more energetic but containing the energy of frustration, sacrifice, and trying to do the right thing despite the personal costs. The third story is about Anne Cleves, a powerful druidic ancestor of Nikki and her mother. This story is wild, dramatic, and full of action. As each story progresses, the main character of Nikki evolves and changes from a user to a woman willing to embrace her powerful legacy.
Mayra Calvani -- Curled Up With A Good Book.......2006-12-03
Memoirs of a Shape-Shifter is a modern gothic novel that goes beyond the more common, commercial form of the genre. Along with magic, ravens, wolves, and a mysterious emerald brooch, the author also explores the female psychology, men and women relationships, and feminist issues.
Forty-year-old lawyer Nikki Helmik leaves her job in Boston to come back to her childhood town of Gloucester, MA. Soon she falls in love with Philip, the son of her cruel and beautiful childhood mentor Rose Eveless, a woman obsessed with physical beauty and eternal youth. Rose is outraged by Nikki and Philip's relationship, not only because Philip is already married, but also because Rose believes Nikki had an affair with her husband, who is now dead. Torn between conflicting loyalties and ideals, Nikki isn't sure what to do. Then Rose makes her a strange offer; she may have Philip, but on one condition: she must find the long lost journal of an ancient Druid magician, a shape-shifter named Anne Cleves, who happens to be none other than Nikki's ancestor. Rose believes the journal might hold the key to eternal youth she so desperately desires. Thus begins Nikki's search for the journal as well as for her own identity. Will finding the journal resolve her psychological conflict and accept the man she loves?
At times, especially in the beginning, the novel moves quite slowly, with pages and pages of what seems like pointless dialogue. This is accentuated by the tiny print used in the book. The author spends too much time dwelling on the character of Rose, who later disappears for most of the story and doesn't show up until the end. It is not until the reader is able to read the mysterious "lost" journal that the story begins to gain momentum. Though Nikki comes through as a real entity, Rose, on the other hand, is a bit stereotypical of the "beautiful and cruel" antagonist and even appears comical at times. The dialogue, however, flows naturally and sparkles with genuineness, and the author does an excellent job in putting himself in the mind of the female protagonist. Through the journal, the reader is transported into another time and place, with all the sights and sounds of those dark times. In fact, reading this ancient Druid's first-person account is the most fascinating aspect of the book.
This novel would be of special interest to those readers interested in Druid magic--its history, particulars and gore. Indeed, the author offers some fascinating details about this subject.
Suspenseful.......2006-03-24
Reviewed by Paige Lovitt for Reader Views (3/06)
I thoroughly enjoyed "Memoirs of a Shape-shifter." Most gothic type stories tend to be to short for me, just as I am getting into the story, it is over. Not so with "Memoirs." The story takes you from modern times, through early America, then back into ancient Ireland. The journey follows a modern woman, Nikki, on her journey of self-discovery as a woman and as a Druidic priestess, down the path of her ancestor Anne Cleves.
At 40 years of age, Nikki starts exploring her past and how experiences in her childhood, especially with her abusive father have affected her emotionally. These experiences have especially affected her ability to love. As Nikki explores her past she learns about the women in her family's involvement with witchcraft and druidism. She begins to follow this path and is able to heal herself.
This story is very suspenseful and the characters are well developed. I highly recommend this book to people who enjoy suspenseful novels that have a touch of magic in them. The way that the author is able to intertwine the past with the present really allows for some rich reading. His descriptive text makes the reader feel more like they are enjoying a movie instead of reading printed material.
Mists of Avalon in Massachusetts.......2006-02-06
Memoirs of a Shapeshifter brought me back to a book I lived with for a long time, The Mists of Avalaon. Not since 1987 have I been transported so fully into another world. Kaplan-Maxfield's story within a story follows the contemporary woman, Nikki, back into her childhood, up to the present and then into her heritage as a Priestesse/witch through her ancestor Anne Cleves. Anne's story returns us to early America and The northern shores of Massachusetts, the forests, the indians and back to ancient Irelanc. Nikki, who has had a long rocky road in her relationships with men, learns from her ancestor, how to open herself to love. It's a gripping, action-packed, heart-breaking and soul-making tale which I would love to see on the silver screen someday. Kaplan-Maxxfied's descriptions are exquisitely vivid. A big book with a big message, ancient wisdom for contemporary times
Draws the reader into its webs of conflicting motives and does not let go until the final page.......2005-11-03
Memoirs of a Shape-Shifter is a fantastic novel with Gothic qualities. Transitioning between the present day story of a young woman and the discovered journal of her ancestor, penned in colonial-era New England, Memoirs of a Shape Shifter follows both the modern woman's struggles with the crises in her life, and her ancestor's struggles. The descendant becomes a Druid magician just like her ancestor, responsible for the knife-edge balance between power and love. Entangled and complex, Memoirs of a Shape-Shifter draws the reader into its webs of conflicting motives and does not let go until the final page.
Book Description
Dear Reader,
Welcome to the wonderful world of the Cynsters! When I embarked on the stories of the Cynster clan, I knew they fascinated me, but I had no idea how much they would appeal to readers. This volume contains the books that first introduced readers to the glittering, glamorous, passionate, and sometimes dangerous lives of the Cynster cousins and their ducal dynasty.
In
Devil's Bride, the head of the dynasty, Devil Cynster, 6th Duke of St. Ives, is caught in a compromising position with a governess. He astonishingly offers marriage, but Honoria Anstruther-Wetherby has no interest. Devil is convinced, yet someone is not so enthused, and accidents start to occur. Can Devil convince Honoria that marrying him will be a more exciting adventure than anything she's dreamed? And if he succeeds, will they both survive?
In
A Rake's Vow, Vane Cynster, Devil's cousin and closest friend, determined to avoid Cupid's dart, takes refuge at his godmother's country house, where fate throws Patience Debbington literally into his arms. Vane is impressed; Patience is not. But as both become embroiled in a mystery involving ghosts, thefts, and ultimately attempted murder, Patience learns that she can place her trust in this rake's vow, because it's one that comes from the heart.
I hope you enjoy your first exciting taste of the Cynster world -- let the romance, adventure, mystery, and sheer passion sweep you away!
WARNING: The Cynsters are addictive.

Excellent Stories Begin What Promises To Be An Excellent Series!.......2006-08-14
These first-two-books-in-one begin the Cynster series and an excellent beginning it is! Since DEVIL'S BRIDE and A RAKE'S VOW are the first two books, I suggest you look under each title for the individual reviews. I thoroughly enjoyed them both! I'm looking forward to reading more of her novels and continuing the Cynster series!

Sequel to Midnight at the Well of Souls.......1998-06-03
A continuation of the story started in Midnight at the Well of Souls, Exiles is the first of a two part subset within the five book series, and is paired with its own sequel, Quest for the Well of Souls; together they are called "The War of the Well World".
This story begins with a new character as the focal point of the story. Mavra Chang. Mavra is a sort of freelance thief, and she's been hired to steal something (or so she thinks).
It turns out that a physicist laboring away at his own vision of cosmology rediscovers the basics of the technology of the universe's parent race, the ancients who created The Well World (see my review under Midnight at the Well of Souls). Unfortunately, one of his underlings decides to take the awesome power for his own, and with it, blackmail the interstellar community. The underling invites an assortment of powerful people to a demonstration of the technology, and into this comes Mavra Chang. She's been sent by a third party who does not wish to get too close to what appears to be a trap.
Something goes wrong, though, and the entire experiment (computer and reality generator built into an asteriod) winds up accidentally connecting itself to The Well World computer, and teleports itself and all aboard to The Well. What's worse, it cannot disengage the computer link at all. Faced with eventual starvation, the passengers disembark in a pair of shuttles, bound for the surface of The Well World.
And when they land, suddenly, since the creation of the modern universe, there is now a way for those living on The Well to leave (The Well has a variety of programming built in that prevents the natives from ever building on their own any machine or system that might escape the gravity of The Well itself).
This novel deals with what happens to the passengers after they land, and what happens to them in their intial encounters, and what new races they are transformed into.

Book Description
The Lost Sutras of Jesus is a fascinating historical journey and spiritual quest into the heart of Jesus's teachings and the essence of Eastern religion. Around A.D. 640, Christian missionaries entered China from the west and had their message translated with a Taoist and Buddhist overlay. These sutras were eventually sealed in a cave, where they remained hidden for 900 years. The Lost Sutras of Jesus combines the amazing story of the writing, disappearance, and rediscovery of the sutras with an exploration of their message.

Introducing its readers to the often intricate and highly enlightened practices of Eastern religions .......2006-05-03
Deftly co-authored by established Christian authors Ray Riegert and Thomas Moore, The Lost Sutras Of Jesus: Unlocking The Ancient Wisdom Of The Xian Monks is an expansive introduction to the fascinating and insightful discoveries and explorations of the aged and invaluable understandings of the Xian Monks. Introducing its readers to the often intricate and highly enlightened practices of Eastern religions and their peculiar relationship with Christ, The Lost Sutras Of Jesus follows the tale of a Christian band of missionaries around 640 A.D. and their documentation and transcripts of Christ's doings, and the texts discovery over nine-hundred years later. The Lost Sutras Of Jesus is very highly recommended reading, especially for dedicated students of the Christian religion, Eastern philosophy, and apocryphal the path of Christ and his "missing years" prior to his ministry and death in Israel, granting its readers and invaluable translation of inspirational and engaging, near two-thousand year-old scripture.
History at its best.......2006-02-17
The history part of the Lost Sutras is well written and interesting. However I wish all of the available Sutras were published. What is here makes the journeys of the early apostles and Jesus himself more real.
Weak introduction to fascinating subject........2005-09-12
If the improbable, romantic history of Christianity in China doesn't convince you that "truth can be stranger than fiction," what can? Last year I visited the lovely stone pagoda outside of Xian, what remains of the oldest Christian complex in China, where an ancient stone telling the story of the first Christians was found four hundred years ago. Poetic Chinese Nestorian texts blending Buddhism and Christianity were later discovered in caves hundreds of miles towards Afghanistan along the Silk Road. After the long hike to China, the participants in this early meeting of East and West deserve two things: a thoughtful and informed introduction, and the chance to speak for themselves.
Riegert and Moore provide the latter, but not the former. The second half of this book consists mostly of exerpts from the various discovered texts. These are fascinating and often beautiful; sometimes leaning towards Gospel, sometimes towards dharma, at times agreeing with both, occasionally with neither. I have a copy of the Nestorian scroll; difficult Chinese, for me at least, but the translation here seems fairly plausible. While it might be too much to hope for a copy of the original in this popular treatment, I wish they had at least said where they obtained their tranlations. They are quite different from those in Palmer and another available on-line, but no explanation is given of where they came from.
The texts are fascinating, poetic, and often beautiful. By contrast, Riegert and Moore might have written the introductions in a couple afternoons, and drummed up the research for them in a few days. It is not clear that the authors knew a lot about China, or Nestorian Christianity(making them sound like members of the Jesus Seminar), though it is obvious they were fond of Buddhism.
One of the book's key errors appears culpable. The authors claim to be offering "1300 year old scrolls" from China. No hint is dropped that the texts they offer might differ in character. But in fact, the Nestorian stone is 1250 years old; the scrolls are more recent. (According to Palmer. The authors do not argue with him; they just fudge the distinction between the stone and the scrolls. As I recall, Samuel Moffett, whom the authors quote, also points out that the stone reveals a more orthodox Christianity than later scrolls.) The authors are either simplistic, or disingenuous, to confuse later syncretism with the first Chinese Christian text, which appear pretty orthodox.
While I think his enthusiasm for karma and other dubious ideas is naive (see my review in Books and Culture), Martin Palmer's The Jesus Sutras is a better and more interesting book. (Perhaps because it was written for love, while I rather suspect this short, artsy little volume of having been written for money.) There is room for more books on the subject, but I hope the next person who takes it on will approach the interchange of syncretism, dharma, and Gospel, with deeper and more critical thought.
author, True Son of Heaven: How Jesus fulfils the Chinese Culture
Nice Intro; little depth.......2005-02-26
As a grad student at Univ. Chicago in the early 80s, i played around with the translation of the Jesus Sutras from the Japanese explorer Sakao's transcription -- the only available Chinese text at my disposal back then. It has been an area of study that has continued to intrique me ever since, and i frequently follow the research.
My initial sense from the Riegert's rendition is that it is a quick popularization following on the heels of other more rigorous and better introduced books. Even the title is misleading... it is not like these texts have been "lost" for all these centuries and recently found! Nor does the book really "unlock" any wisdom per se. It is that sort of language and introduction that lends itself to my criticism of a popularization. While it is a fine introduction, the reader interested in early Chinese Christianity, the fascinating story of monks from the Church of the East finding emperial accomodation in Tang China, and the unique syncretic nature of the Jesus Sutras with Taoist and Buddhist ideas would do better with Martin Palmer's Jesus Sutras. Martin was also the individual who deciphered the old spy maps and clues from classical texts to eventually locate the ruins of the primary Christian monastery at Da Qin.
Rich Spiritual Blend of Christian, Tao & Confucian Thoughts.......2004-10-15
Fascinating religious scrolls were discovered in caves in Xian, China at the turn of the century. They were disseminated to museums in France, Britain (UK) and into private collections and not translated for many years. The political upheavals in China left the remaining texts safe ... until 1998 when the monastery where they were stored was discovered. This small volume is a gem that includes translations of the scrolls, although high-priced for only 138 pages, the information contained within is well worth reading. Part I describes the historical background of how Christian monks from Persia in 635 C.E. traveled 3,000 miles over the Silk Road to China. They were honored by the enlightened Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, who recognized the wisdom of the Christian teachings which he called "The Luminous Religion". He had the monks write down their teaching and included it in the Imperial library that contained 200,000 volumes of scrolls, one of the most substantial places of knowledge in the world. Close to a 1,000 years later the Chinese found the scrolls and built a monument, which at the top had a cross rising from the center of a lotus blossum. On the stele was carved the teachings of Christianity, Taoism, and Confucianism. In the early 1900s, a Taoist priest/monk discovered the caves where the original manuscripts were laid ... he devoted his life to preserving the caves and their contents.
Amazingly it was a Hungarian Jew, Sir Aurel Stein, who grew up in Britain, obtained his Ph.D. at age 21, was raised as a Christian, who brought these texts to the world's attention. Later he received a knighthood and honorary degrees from Oxford and Cambridge. A French archeologist, Paul Pelliot, also deserves credit for his outstanding translations of the numerous scrolls that he took back to the Bilbiotheque Nationale in France and for which he received honors later in life. The book does indeed fall short in providing enough of the translated scrolls themselves, there are only just over 40 pages devoted to this alone, but the overall research and information contained within had my undivided and full attention. This is a most highly recommended book. Erika Borsos (erikab93)

Authentic Hungarian Recipes.......2006-03-13
You don't get any more authentic than this book. Most other cookbooks are phoney. This is the real thing. I am Hungarian and this is how my Mother cooked and now so am I. You want the real thing...this is it. The ingrediants are easily obtained. The directions are easy to follow and the dish turns out exactly how it is meant to be.
Jo etvagyot!.......2005-10-21
This book is a collection of standard Hungarian recipes that would be familiar to any Hungarian cook. It includes chapters on soups, main dishes, side dishes, and desserts. Each chapter begins with a brief description of the type of dish and its role in the food culture of Hungary, discussing, for instance, what were foods were readily available on the farm. The recipes are provided with both their English and Hungarian names. One helpful feature is that each recipe includes not only a list of ingredients, but also a list of utensils needed for the recipe. In keeping with Hungarian farm traditions, most of the recipes call for butter, sour cream, eggs, and one or more types of meat, especially pork. Virtually all the recipes call for fresh foods, not canned foods or convenience mixes, but there are few exotic ingredients needed.
This book would make a great reference for American cooks who want to create authentic-tasting Hungarian meals. There aren't many fancy recipes in the book for special occasions- -mainly the book is about basic home cooking down on the farm, Hungarian style.
The Paprikas Weiss Hungarian Cookbook.......2001-12-01
Just like Mom used to make. Wonderful
Excellent ethnic cookbook. The best in Hungarian cooking........1997-11-16
This book is very practical. Easy to follow. More importantly its recepies are not experimental, invented Hungarian cerepies but rather REAL Hungarian cooking done in Hungary. It therefore reflects the traditional cooking of the Hungarian people. I would love to buy it for my children (daughters)
to familiarize themselves with their ancestors cooking.

This book is more than a colledtor's handbook, it is my bible. I would purchase any of her work!!!!The color, detail, information about each miniature perfume bottle is wonderful.I would suggest to anyone to buy 2 of her books at a time because the first one will get worn out. Such fun to wear out a Book.

Collectible Miniature Perfume Bottles.......2002-03-10
Although this is a cute little book with nice pictures, it is lacking in content. Too much history and not enough pictures of what is available today. It did not include any monetary values, not enough pictures of miniatures from the past 25 years, not very interesting ...actually it was nice to look at once, but otherwise a waste of money. I have about 40 of these little bottles and only about 8 were pictured in the book. Pay a little more and get a true reference book.
Book Description
An extravagant array of miniature perfume bottles fills these full-color pages, pure rapture for those who love scent, beautiful glasswork, and the mystique of the truly elegant. While collectors of full-sizes perfume bottles have always found a place for a few choice "minis" on their shelves, these are a growing trend to specialize in these little beauties in their own right. From the Victorian era through the beginning of the 20th century, from the world wars through the 1990s, this book has it all! Over 600 brilliant photographs show every detail and each bottle is identified by fragrance, perfumer, size, and era. Significant glassmakers are discussed, and their works are identified. This book has bottle-by-bottle guide to current market values.
Customer Reviews:
Outstanding in content and color photos........1998-08-12
Ms. Bowman's books on miniature perfume bottles are full of color photos and lots of fun facts about them. I have both of her books and browse/ read through them over and over again. I never quit learning from her and look forward to more books by her in the future.

A reference.......2004-07-10
This is damn good book! Whatever you`re an experienced woodworker, amateur, or just started learning on the table saw, the tricks, techniques, consels, examples and pictures got me more confortable using the bench saw. And a bonus, the jigs presented in the book made me save a lot of time ... and money !
Use Your Table Saw Safely.......2000-03-31
I found this text to be extremely helpful. Often one feels comfortable using a tool because of experience and lack of difficulty with the basics. This book opened my eyes with respect to basic setup to optimize safety, efficiency as well as introducing me to many uses I hadn't previously understood. There are some great plans for various jigs that make working with the saw alot easier; I described one to my brother, a professional woodworker, who hadn't previously seen this jig and figured it might have saved his fingertips. The text and illustrations are easy to understand. I think nearly everyone might learn a significant new approach from this book.

Not the best book.......2007-03-19
One of the several Feng Shui books I bought. Just clean up your home and arrange it as you like. I don't like all this condemnation. If you don't do this or that bad things will happen to you. I think it's a load of nonsense and something to make money off of. The constant threatening of Feng Shui to begin with seems evil to me. Keep away from it.
An Awesome Feng Shui Book.......2001-08-19
This is a really good book on feng shui, especially if you are new to feng shui or just want a simple, basic book. The best part of this book is the very detailed charts, graphics and pictures, since they don't leave you confused like some poorly drawn diagrams might. The language is simple and easy to read.
The book is divided into 10 easy lessons, although there is no need to go in the order of the book. Each of the 10 chapters ends in a Top Ten Questions section about the chapter. The book also touches on some things many other books neglect, such as gardening, how to do feng shui around other people, your workplace, major life changes and even talks about what to look for when you are looking for a new home. There is also a space clearing procedure included.
My first Feng Shui book.......2001-01-09
I received this book as a Christmas present and found it quite interesting, since this is the first time I'm reading about Feng Shui. The drawings, illustrations, and photographs found on practically every page are very well done.
Each 'lesson'/chapter is pretty short (less than 20 pages), and the summary questions at the end of each section are also a good idea.
The writing style is very clear and easy to understand.
The list of books in the 'further reading' is also interesting for a reader that would want to dig deeper into this subject.
Basic but not enough detail.......2000-09-26
This is a good start for someone wanting to know the basics of Feng Shui. But for someone who wants more details, especially when it comes to decorating or applications for in your daily life there is very little information. There is a great section on how to cleanse the atmosphere in your home or workstation. Look further if you want more detailed information.
Great and really simple!.......2000-09-25
I loved this book! I recently recieved it as a gift and I am hooked. It makes the basics of feng shui very easy to understand. I recommend to those who are just starting out and those that are already know what's up.

Sad, very sad.......2001-08-03
Navigation? I don't think so. This is just a collection of graphic ideas. There is no "navigation" inspiration here. In fact this series is a let down. 75% of the images are an exact duplicate from the Splashpage book in the series. These guys from Rockport are trying to make a quick book with slick images. There has to be something better out there.
Feeling Cheated.......2001-04-04
I was very disappointed with Navigation Volume 2 (I never read Vol 1). The sites chosen for review were obviously chosen because they were artistic and "cool", and not because of their stellar Navigation. Most of the sites reviewed were Flash based sites with confusing navigation that breaks many of the basic rules. These types of navigation are great if you only have 10 pieces of content on your entire site but if you have any real amount of content and your users need a logical way to get around your site then this is not the book for you. Also there's no explanations in the book so you have very little idea why they chose that navigation and what it might be good for. This book is just pretty to look through but has no substance, it will surely collect dust on my shelf.
A web page design ideas book.......2001-02-13
I own Navigation Vol.1, so I knew what I was getting with Vol.2. The book gives no tips on how to design a site but instead is full of screenshots of a selection of sites showing the different interfaces out there. Not quite as good as Navigation Vol.1 but still v. useful to come up with ideas for page design.

Interesting info--but was this a first draft?.......2004-02-19
This book is a good overview of Lugosi's career, but I have some doubts as to its accuracy because it was so poorly edited. It almost reads like a first draft.
I mean, this thing, has extra commas, just dropped in, like pepper!
Oftentimes names are spelled one way at the opening of a paragraph, and another way at the end. Sentences are repeated from page to page as though the author pasted but forgot to cut.
At one point a paragraph even begins by announcing a "Film review of Spooks Gone Wild:"
This is then followed by four paragraphs about another film entirely, "Black Dragons."
Did anybody read this thing a second time before going to press? So incredibly sloppy!
How can I even believe the basic facts the author presents if he and his editor can't even get sixth grade composition down?
Bela, a review.......2003-03-12
A good book but I noticed some obvious mistakes from the "get-go" like in the opening statements when it was said that Lugos was formerly Romania but now Hungary but it is actually the opposite- formerly Hungary but now Romania! Also, there was much repetition in the quotes in the book. Other than that it was actually one of the better books on Bela that I have read. I am Canadian but speak Hungarian and love Bela so I am always looking for a good biography of his!
TRULY FANTASTIC.......1998-12-30
This book made an instant fan of Bela Lugosi, from it i learned that he did more films than just 'Dracula'but he did lots of other things too.the book made hunt out more of Bela's iilms and i'm sure i drove my wife mad getng them, but i enjoyed every singe one of them, all thanks to this book.my favouites are "Scared To Death' and"Invisible Ghost".i would tell all new ela fans to hunt out this book as so much i crammed to it on just a small page count.Larry Edwards did a great job for the master of terror.i love this book.
Even a rating of one star is TOO high for this book........1998-12-02
Only Lugosi completests should purchase this book. It is filled with numerous factual errors and offers absolutely nothing new that has not already been covered by other books. Lugosi fans would be better served to buy Gary Don Rhode's or Greg Mank's books or any of a number of other Lugosi related works.
