This book was great. The format made it seem as you were sitting in someones livingroom just talking to these guys. It gave you a totally different look at these two young men. In all the interviews I have seen it seemed like they always get along and agree with each other. It was refreshing to see that they both have varying opinions on many things. Just like most brothers. It was a very good read.

When i got this book i really loved the beggining when they meet everyone
to when they made omega,their mom died when matt was 12 and jeff was 9 and their father had to take care of them.They first made their own wrestleing ring out of a trampoline.

This is another, in a long line of, insightful autobiographies of a revolutionary force in the recent resurgence of pro wrestling over the last 10 years. The Story of the young duo of Matt & Jeff Hardy is a compelling one. I recommend this to anyone who loves wrestling and any one loves watching these guys perform.

Needs more.........2005-11-19

Ive been a huge fan of the Hardyz for a long time, and when I bought this book, I thought it would be about their lives outside the ring. I was wrong.

The start of the book is great. But about halfway through, it just loses momentum. They go to far into detail on the matches, and it just gets very boring. Also, as I mentioned earlier, they have about 5 pages talking about their lives outside of the WWE.

Best Book Ever.......2005-11-04

This book by far one of the best one's I have read in a while I may have gotten it late (a while after it came out) but it didn't matter I'm just now reading it all the way (before I just read diffent parts) and I'm so proud 2 say I'm a Hardy Fan and have been for year's even tho the Hardy Boy's aren't a tag team anymore this book isn't just about them when they were a tag team this is after all that behide the fame this book come's with photo that I have 2 say I love some people have seen before and some people havn't this book does talk about Amy (fan's know her better as Lita) getting hurt on the set of Dark Angel and it tell that part of there lifes and thing's I didn't even know about the boy's and I trought I knew all there was 2 know about them this is a great book for any Hardy Boy's fan.

I bought this book, and read it many weeks ago but forgot to write a review over. Honestly I enjoyed the book, and it was terrific entertainment for me the evening I read it in which I remember well.

Great Reference for Crime Writers.......2001-09-01

Modus Operandi is a great reference book for writers who want to understand how criminals work. Written by two detectives who draw heavily on their experience the book is a packed with useful information ranging from con artists to murderers, carjackers to smugglers. What makes this book good is that it not only covers how the crimes are committed, but also the psychology behind the criminal, police slang and inside information. This is a definite "must have" reference for crime writers.

This book was a surprise based on the excellence of the others in the Howdunit series. Usually these books provide well researched and accurate information for criminal fiction authors. This particular book, however, seems to focus only on what the author(s) were able to glean from other writing books, and contains many mis-statements and incorrect information. A far superior book in this series is Malicious Intent, which covers everything that Modus Operandi does, but in a clearer and more accurate form.

For a book of this price, I was expecting the photos of the horses to be in color. There are plenty of photos, but the only color is on the front & back cover. It's ok, but for this price, Western Horseman could do better.

This book provided the ancestry of the horses that started the American Quarterhorse breed. It was fun to take my horses' lineage and be able to trace it all the way back to the original King Ranch horses. I found out why my horse has such hard feet, why she likes to run so much, and found that she is the spitting image of one of her ancestors. I could hear the stories of her great grandsires and great granddams, the lives that they led, the places they lived, their temperaments, their quirks of behavior. I feel that I know my own horse better after seeing where she came from. I highly recommend this and the other volumnes of this series.

This book had me glued. I own a foundation bred stallion and did not know his dam's bloodlines. With each Legends book I read, I learn more of why my stud is the way he is! I have also learned how important research is in breeding quality animals and how they did it then and how it has effected now! An excellent series of books for anyone interested in their horses ancestry.

Wonderfull History of the breeding of Foundation Mares & Stallions of the AMerican Quarter Horse. I would not be without all 4 volumes in this series. I refer to them when considering a new horse purchase to research bloodlines for Temperment, type,usability and many other factors.

This is and excellent book in a series of four (so far) about sires and dams of significance in the Quarter Horse Breed. I learned about the horses from birth to death, successes and failures and the people in their lives. A pedigree is provided, and links are made from ancestors and offspring. I found it an excellent reference tool and enjoyed reading it. Another well written book from Western Horseman.

This entire series of books are the best. As an owner of a quarter horse, and a relative of breeders and trainers of these magnificant animals, I found these books to be incredible. Every detail accentuates on the foundation of the breed, the animals history. This book, this series contains anything you need to know as a breeder or trainer predigree wise. We recently bought a small farm and orchard and were simply overwhelmed about what to do with the fruit trees. Fortunately for us, the local feed store was selling this great little book. It covers the essentials for successful grafting and budding, includes the info needed so that the proper tools are acquired and/or used, when to do the different types of grafting and budding, as well as the definitions of the various types of grafting.

This book is a 32-page flimsy pamphlet of the kind that your local Agricultural Extension Service often gives away for free.
There is a paucity of information, no pictures, poor hand-drawn graphics, no mention of anything of value to southern farmers. NO mention of air-layering, and NO compatibility tables for different types of fruit. Egad.

Makes you appreciate what you have!.......2002-05-19

Okay, I'm the author's son, but I wouldn't be writing these words were I not truly convinced that this is a great story. They don't make women like my grandmother anymore. She never knew the meaning of the word "sacrifice". My mother's description of my grandmother's harrowing boat trip from Lebanon to her new home in the United States will make even the most hardnosed cynics quiver. And her tending to my debilitated grandfather (due to a stroke) while raising my mother and her brothers and sisters (5 in all!) in a closet-sized attic apartment and working double shifts at a tape company truly makes me appreciate everything I have. Yes, this story has been told before, but this one has a fresh point of view unlike anything else I have read previously. My mother has not only written a chronicle of our family's history, but a truly endearing story of one woman's struggle in the face of unfathomable obstacles - and all for the sake of being able to live in America.
