Advertised as Like New - Wasn't. Took 4 Weeks to Get.......2007-03-11

It took 4 weeks to receive the book from the time I ordered it- almost too late to get it before my trip departure date. The shipping label appeared to defective and maybe that was the problem in the delivery time. Also, the book was missing the tear out map and many pages contained someone's underlining. That isn't a big deal but it wasn't described that way.

Hard to find information in this book........2006-05-13

The Index is very poor. I tried looking up the Spy Museum and Holocaust Museum. Nothing under Spy or Holocaust. I looked under Museum, and then looked for Spy and Holocaust. I also looked for National ... museum.

I went to the internet, and found that the full names are:

International Spy Museum and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

To my way of thinking, Spy and Holocaust should have been in the index. When I have to use Google to find something in a book's index, I think that the index is useless.

Cut and Pasted Crud.......2007-06-23

I recommend the first book but this follow up was very bad. It is like a lot of cut and pasted internet letters to and from the author. The structure is bad and you have to go through a lot of crud to pick up relevant points (most of which have been covered in the first book). The subject itself is great yet the material leans towards being a bit general and somewhat outdated. I would recommend Volume I, as well as The Art of Seduction, Mystery Method, as well any material from Steele's nemesis Ross Jefferies.

Time to sharpen your dating skills with some 300 new pages of new advice. Some 12 years of questions from readers answered, covering topics such as the essence of initial conversations, the importance of not coming on too hard, body language, dress for success, etc.

How to reveal information about yourself so she can reveal things about herself and take the initiative, how to listen to her words really hearing what she is saying without words, how you must feel deep inside your bones that you are attractive to young women because of your age and experience, how to move gradually down the age ladder in order to relearn crucial dating skills, how to become effective in controlling real, adult women so as not to be instantly manipulated and destroyed by a young woman...

Also, understanding that young women are volatile and come and go out of your life without warning, so you must keep always a string of at least three pearls and replace them immediately, and that you must be sexually satisfied by women before you can even talk to young women.

You will see yourself and your past experiences reflected in these pages. After five reads, my dog-eared copy is full of annotations on the side with women's names and years. A third volume is in the works, so keep an eye out!

I have three of Steele's books and you can't find a better value anywhere on body language or courtship/dating info. I recently became single again and I am buying all three of his books for a second time, as the others are in storage. The information is priceless.

This is a good book. I recommend it because it gives some insight into the psychology of young women. Of course, if you are a millionaire, you don't need this book, but for us poor people understanding the minds of young women will definitely help us at the starting point. There are a lot of theories and real-life instances in the book that are valuable. Buy one and you'll see.

I purchased How to date young women after working in an office with young chicks and wanted to understand their attitudes way of thinking and found that book truthful, straight to the point and amusing.
Which is why I purchased this book to help me learn somemore I was hoping for the same straight down the line real world talk and I wasn't disappointed, this book Don has taken the best of letters written to him on the topic and helped the reader understand some more, from their own experiences, misunderstandings or mess ups.

Heavy on text.......2001-05-11

I was curious about what kind of garden publications Chronicle Books would be putting out so I bought three in the series; Water Gardens, Paths and Walkways, and Small Patios.

I think if I had seen these in the bookstore I would've probably put them back. I was expecting something a little heavier on the visuals from Chronicle Books.

But the examples are interesting. Nice range of elements, and tending to favor the quirky in design. The author describes the garden element in question (depends on which book you have) and uses one overall photograph and two detail shots. The detail shots seem there mostly for atmosphere and to break up the page. She also includes a one-page, how-to discussion, and a list of tools and materials.

I'm not looking forward to all the reading.
