Good route descriptions for the touring cyclist. The routes are a bit short and unchallenging for the expereinced cyclist or the cyclist seeking challenging training terrain. This is a good guide, and I have not found anything better. Recommend.

This is a wonderful guide for anyone seeking skills on dog handling and showing. It offers step by step instructions and debunks some of the myths. My favorite part was the touching stories about how dogs facilitate healing and transform the human spirit.

Steve SeRine has written an inspiring and intuitive guide for anyone interested in becoming a better handler. I've attended several of his handling seminars. This book is a wonderful reference to the novice as well as the advanced handler. I highly recommend this as a fund raising item for national raffles as it is truly a wonderful book that applies to every individual regardless of the dog breed they own.

A BIG disappointment! Shoddy reproductions (black & white)with very poor resolution (small and out of focus reprints of the postcards.) If it wasn't such a hassle I would have returned the book.

Great ideas and pictures, with how-to's and plant index!.......1999-06-12

Overall I got a lot of ideas from looking at the pictures. The only drawback was that the captions didn't always list all plants used in the photo, making it difficult to recreate things exactly. But I did get inspired and planted 7 containers yesterday! A list of container-friendly plants in the back was very helpful, but could have been enhanced with a small photo of each so you'd know for sure if "Helictotrichon Sempervirens" is what you're looking for. The projects were interesting & I will attempt at least two next summer, but I wish there had been more. Probably because I'm new to gardening. I appreciated the inspiration from this book's photos.

DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS.......2007-10-11

These frommer guides are well put together, at least the writers seem to have actually visited these two cities. Im very familiar with both cities and i have to say for the tourist, Austin does not hold a candle to San Antonio..it's sort of like comparing Baton Rouge to New Orleans. I mean dont get me wrong id rather live in Austin, but if your going to these cities for fun, spend like two days in Austin, then make your way to San Antonio...fast,,,the riverwalk alone is worth spending several days. As for this guide, I like the way it's layed out and the ratings of sites is very accurate. The hotel and restaurant guides are pretty basic, but it gives you an general overview. If you have never visited this area...be sure to ride out into the Hill Country, all the German Heritage and scenic vista's is not to be missed...

Great guide to San Antonio.......2002-12-31

I took this guide on a first time visit to San Antonio and found it invaluable. Not only was it up to date with info on the latest hotels, attractions, and restaurants, but it contains lots of asides containing interesting information on the different sites that added to our enjoyment at visiting these sites. A first rate job!

This book is a good supplement to the other "How to get into the top MBA programs." It's a lot smaller and goes much less in depth. I found it was a nice supplement to the other book, but I would not suggest this one as your main source for application tips and strategies.

This is a great book for understanding how the US MBA admission process works. Coming from Africa this book guided me through the whole process of essay writing, GMAT, application and I got admitted into a top 10 US MBA school. I don't think this would have been possible without the knowledge I got from it.

I highly recommend it to prospective MBA students; especially those coming fron outside the USA.

I was only trying to get into one school, it was the only one with the program I needed. It is just starting to make the lists for top 50 business schools. This book was invaluable. It really walks you through all the steps of applying. A few things didn't apply to me but it was all useful. I didn't have the chance to do an interview for a backup school first as it recommends, because I didn't have one. But with this book I was prepared. So, long story short, I got in and even recieved a significant scholarship.

My grandfather wrote this book and I love him with all my heart..he is gone to heaven...but not gone from my heart and soul...and most importantly not gone from the decoy scene.

He was the most respected decoy collector I knew. I grew up with his basement filled with display shelves of priceless decoys.
I knew my grandfather as a hunter, fisherman, cook, and most importantly a loving father and grandfather. I call him Papa and the rest of you can call him the guru of decoys!

-hard to concentrate on, hard to keep reading
-facts were boring

Fine Narrative.......2001-09-19

The author was a cryptographer working out of Australia during WWW II. This is his personal narrative and an operational history combined. Not definitive because at the time of writing much documentation remained to be declassified. A worthwhile addition to a SIGINT collection.
