Wild Orchids of the Middle Atlantic States.......2000-10-30
This is a beautiful little book! I like this book so much I bought a copy for my botany teacher. The photographs are excellent, the format is easy to use. Each page is devoted to one orchid with the photograph on the opposite page. It is a good book to get acquainted with wild orchids and recognizing them in the wild. The reasons I do not give it 5 stars are there are no line drawings to describe the floral features of the plants and the habitat descriptions for where you can find them is not to the level of detail I would like. But overall it is a great book for the price and it is wonderful to look at.

THE ROUGH GUIDE TO GOA - PRINTED JANUARY 2006 6TH EDITION BY DAVID ABRAM.......2007-01-22
QUICK INFORMATION
The Rough Guide to Goa is firstly what it says it is - A guide. It has been put together to help and advise you with resourceful information for your forth-coming travels. This guide I would say would be exceptional for backpackers and holiday makers travelling only in Goa. If you are looking to travel other places in India please look to a more suitable book to cover your whole scope.
When purchasing and selecting any travel books always look to see when the book was printed, this edition that I am reviewing is the 6th edition printed January 2006 this would be the most recent and up to date book in the Rough Guide to Goa series. Even though this book is a year old it still supplied me with all the information I needed books in this series are normally updated every two years.
Just having returned from Goa myself, I found this edition to be excellent value for money all information given is extremely well written, descriptive, easy to understand, maps were detailed and were shown to be very useful and informative. For holiday makers it gives you some great tips if you decide to venture outside of your accommodation and take a closer look at life beyond a beach holiday, for backpackers or people just turning up for a few weeks wandering around, it can supply you with a quick fix in your moment of need.
PLACES COVERED
Panjim and central Goa, North Goa, South Goa, Around Goa, Mambai (Bombay) each place is also extensively covered with the history, the religions of Goa, Environmental issues in Goa, Natural history, Goan music and dance, Books. Language: Hindi, Konkani words and phrases, (food and drink terminology).
BOOK OVERVIEW
This book is beautifully laid out, we start with an introduction Where to go, When to go, Things not to be missed, I would advise you read this thoroughly before your visit so that you can make the most of your travels it supplies you with information on your expectations while in Goa. This is followed by the Basics, Getting There, Visas and red tape, information on websites and maps (please use websites extensively before you travel very handy for backpackers on the move) Insurance, Health (medical information please check all key points in this section before travelling) Costs, Money and banks, Getting around, accommodation (covering all ends of the scale) eating and drinking this covers places from the top end to a local shack on the beach. Communications and the media, Festivals and holidays, Cultural hints and etiquette, shopping and souvenirs, Crime and personal Security, Travellers with disabilities, Travelling with Children, Women and sexual harassment and lastly the directory (Things advisable to take).
MY TIPS
Going to brief over a few areas, Goa's number one income is made from Tourism therefore it's very commerical to other parts of India. I suggest reading this book thoroughly before travelling all website are handy for extra information, when travelling around word of mouth is the biggest source the people are lovely and will always go out of there way to help you with information. The hotels for Luxury Retreats are normally based to the South of Goa, The parties for the Backpackers look to the North. Markets (a definite for all) Nothing like the hustle and bustle great for a taste of India and you can pick up just about anything on the cheap of course haggling is part of life please stay light hearted about it all, the big flea market Anjauna (North Goa holiday makers can still stay in the South and travel North to the markets for the day they are easily excisable) Wednesday Mornings early till evenings the only draw back is the prices tend to start high some tourist will pay beyond (or will not haggle) to get what they want, always haggle, prices can start from as much as 4 times to high, but haggling remains all part of the fun to get your best price. The Mapusa Market (Friday Mornings) is good for Fish, Fruit, Spices, Sausages and other fresh produce sold along side tourist goods. There are also Nights Markets held inland from Baga that are really good but a favourite is Ingo's at Arpora which has a good mix of live music along side traders selling clothes. Fabrics can be bought and clothes can be made very cheap. You will no doubt at one point on your trip also be pestered by hawkers mainly on beaches begging or selling their wears it's just part of life in India. Temples and ruins are also a must again haggle your prices for trips (taxi drivers can vastly vary). As always enjoy yourself but stay sharp and keep your wits about you especially in crowded areas.
There's also very many amazing beaches, so have a wonderful time relax and enjoy.

Book Description
Faith of Our Mothers tells the remarkable stories of the mothers of our nation's presidents and of their influence on their sons. Presidential scholar Harold Gullan explores these engaging persons in chronological order, examining the lives and formative roles played by America's forty-three first mothers.
A fascinating read, Faith of Our Mothers delves into a significant but neglected facet of American history. In examining the "faith" of the presidential mothers, Gullan describes primarily their faith in their sons' potential, but he also looks at their (often) devout religious faith. Where possible, Gullan also touches on their ancestry, childhood, and marriage, as well as telling the story of the years after the birth of their presidential sons.
Popularly written and accented with pictures of many of the figures discussed, Faith of Our Mothers provides a unique look at the maternal inspiration behind the presidentsand our nation.

Wonderful insight into the mothers behind the Leaders.......2004-06-17
Clearly Dr. Gullan has a brilliant grasp on delivering touching biographical accounts.
Books like these make history relevant to young and old!
Not Enough Bush.......2003-12-21
Ok, so Barbara Bush got her picture on the cover, but the section about her is way too small to justify buying this book. I really interested in the sections on Reagan and Bush, but we need more. Perhaps the author could write another book focused mainly on these two mother-figures of our nation.
Poorly Researched.......2002-07-06
Being a student of religious history, I was interested in Harold Gullan's book to see whether he had the courage to author the truth about President Eisenhower's religious background, or whether he had regurgitated previously fabricated propaganda.
Dwight Eisenhower was reared in the religious faith that later took on the name "Jehovah's Witnesses".
However, Eisenhower biographers, American historians, and even the Watchtower Society (JWs) have worked in concert to distort that fact.
In the days of Dwight Eisenhower's youth (the late 1890s and first decade of the 1900s), IKE's parents were what were then known as "Bible Students". "Bible Students" were oftentimes labeled "Russellites", since they followed the teachings of Charles Taze Russell, the founder of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. This group eventually adopted the name "Jehovah's Witnesses" in 1931.
The ruse that IKE's parents were "River Brethren" during his formative years and only briefly associated with JWs after IKE left home is an intentional effort to rewrite history so as to hide the fact that an American President, who also happened to be THE military hero of World War II, was reared in the religion which later became infamous for its theology which forbids members to participate in political and military activities.
The ruse is assisted by the fact that the Watchtower Society does not want to acknowledge such facts either, because to do so would require them to publicize to their current membership and potential converts the fact that their ever-changing theology once accomodated participation in military and political affairs. For example, in 1911, the year that Dwight Eisenhower entered West Point, the Chairman of the opening ceremonies at the then annual Watchtower Convention was General William P. Hall, a Congressional Metal of Honor winner from the western Indian Wars, who was named Adjutant General of the United States Army in 1912. (It is a thus far undocumented suspicion that Hall may even have played a role in IKE's West Point admission.)
The ruse is also assisted by the fact that at that point in the Watchtower Society's history, it had not yet become a totally separate denomination, and its "followers" often maintained membership ties with local churches, so long as the local church did not object to the member's promotion of Watchtower teachings (which at that time were not as objectionable as current). IKE and his parents may very well have remained members in the Eisenhower family's local "River Brethren" church, but it is also a fact that IKE's parents' home was the local weekly meeting place for "Russellites" during IKE's formative years starting in 1896, and continuing even after he left home for West Point.
After Charles Taze Russell died in 1916, and his successor started initiating doctrinal changes (including those relating to participation in political and military affairs), IKE's father and siblings gradually separated themselves from the Watchtower Society. IKE's mother continued with the Watchtower Society, dying a loyal Jehovah's Witness. However, the rest of IKE's family (no doubt partially motivated by IKE's career), did everything they could to not only separate themselves from the Watchtower Society, but they even went to the extent of attempting to erase their past ties with such.
For the most part, the various parties' efforts to rewrite IKE's history has been successful. Regretably, Gullan's lack of research has aided and abetted this fictionalization of an important part of American Presidential history, and likely will play a major role in the future perpetuation of rewritten history.
the hand the rocks the cradle............2002-06-22
Harold Gullan's well-researched provides us with an entertaining look at the First Mothers. He has grouped them not in straight chronological fashion but instead by categories such as "Maternal Ambition" and "Continuity and Change."
The mothers since around 1900 are more fully fleshed out, since more material is available about them than about the women of previous times, with the exception of Abigail Adams. The wide correspondence of John Q. Adams' mother provides us with a detailed picture of her life and times.
Whether they were hard-working, hands-on moms like Hannah Nixon on the West Coast, or wealthy like Rose Kennedy and Sarah Roosevelt on the East Coast who employed nannies to change diapers, all the First Mothers loved and supported their sons, influenced and inspired them. Some adhered to the values of the Puritan faith of early America, and its characteristics of simple living, cheerfulness, and service. Others, like two southerners, Virginia Kelley and Lillian Carter, were free spirited individuals. Can you grow up to be president if your mom cooks for the family only on Sunday and relies on others to fill in during the week? Ask Jimmy Carter!
"Remember the ladies," Abigail Adams advised her husband. Kudoes to Harold Gullan for following her suggestion and giving us "Faith of our Mothers."
good history and good reading.......2002-01-24
What a delightful book. It is well written and intersting. By looking at each Presidential mother the reader will many times have a better understanding of the son. The author doesn't sugar coat anything. Many of these women were incredibly galant, good or bold but others were poor or ineffectual mothers. The author mentions gently, that Franklin Pierce's mother had a drinking problem--and so did Franklin and talks candidly about the smothering domineering ways of FDR's mother. I very much enjoyed it.

Book Description
You don't have to be an opera fan to appreciate this beautifully written memoir by world-famous tenor Andrea Bocelli. Born among the vineyards of Tuscany, Bocelli was still an infant when he developed glaucoma. Music filtering into his room soothed the unsettled child. By the age of twelve he was completely blind, but his passion for music brought light back into his life.
Here Bocelli reveals the anguish of his blindness and the transcendent experience of singing. He writes about his loving parents, who nurtured his musical interests, the challenges of learning to read music in Braille and of competing in talent shows, his struggles with law school, and his desire to turn an avocation into a way of life. He describes falling in love and singing in piano bars until his big break in 1992, when a stunned Pavarotti heard him sing "Miserere." The international acclaim and success that have followed Bocelli ever since have done nothing to dull his sense of gratitude and wonder about the world. No classical music fan can afford to be without this engaging and humble memoir of a fascinating and triumphant star.

I Love Andrea Bocelli. His voice is so Beautiful.Anyone who feels like I do should read this book.It is absolutely Wonderful. It shows no matter what the obstacles are that you face that you can become what God desires you to be.
Bocelli's written voice.......2007-01-28
Actually, I found the child-like manner in which this is written to be a stumbling block. Perhaps in Italian it would flow better, but I didn't find it an easy read in English. Sometimes I felt like I was stealing a look into a teen's private diary.
That said, I greatly admire Bocelli's voice and his struggle to share his beautiful gift with the world. I would love to meet this humble but sincere man and hope one day to have the privilege of hearing him in person.
Andrea angelic voice childish memoir.......2007-01-28
Andrea Boccelli's memoir is a must for those who want to enter the world of the blind, and learn firsthand the hardships of being blind. Andrea's book is written in a childlike manner, with the passion for the written word that he displays in his singing. If you want to get a glimpse at this superstar this book is a must! Easy reading, sweet, and passionate!
Interesting.......2007-01-09
If you like Andrea Bocelli then you will find this book interesting and worth reading.

A Useful Book.......2000-11-16
Each species account consists of a black and white illustration, discussion of the species' present and historical distribution in Tennessee, and its breeding biology. There are also distribution maps for each species and abundance maps for most. The author provides numerous references within the body of the species accounts.
The Atlas of the Breeding Birds of Tennessee is one of a number of similar state-wide bird distribution atlases. While the methodology varies between the various atlases, they are still generally quite useful in providing a snapshot of the distribution of birds at the present time. This Tennessee atlas also gathers together valuable information on the historical distribution of the birds and their breeding biology. It will be quite valuable to ornithologists and wildlife biologists in Tennessee and the surrounding area, both for the distribution information and for the extensive references. Amateur naturalists, also, will find it useful as a supplement to field guides and other identification tools, since it covers the distribution of Tennessee birds in great detail and also provides more information on the breeding biology of the birds than are generally found in field guides and other resources. The language is non-technical.

Renovate Homes and Turn a Good Profit.......2007-08-31
This book provides sound advice on buying an remodeling houses. The author may go a little deeper into repairing houses than the average fix-up investor goes. Dworin is addressing serious renovation work on houses, way beyond just painting and clean -up.
There is good money to be made in home remodeling, particularly if can do most, or all, of the work yourself.
The most valuable chapter in the book to me is Chapter 6 "What Work Should You Do?" Dworin says not to waste time and money on repairs that buyers won't pay extra for. All houses will have flaws, and buyers don't scrutinize each item in a house, they look at the whole package. If you try to make a house flawless, you'll only wind up charging too much for the house and not finding a buyer. I like how the author describes the various typical problems that are found in houses. He goes on to explain whether or not it is necessary to repair each item, and if so, tells you how to do it.
Most of the book is devoted to describing various parts of a house and how to make repairs to each part. The book is a little dated in that it describes how to make repairs to things that are no longer commonly found in houses, such as old style gas-gravity furnaces. However, that is the exception rather than the rule. You can find many good repair tips in this book.
For those who want to go a little deeper into home renovation, this is a good book to read and keep. For those who are just doing fix-up houses that require lighter repair, its useful for you too, if only to see what else is possible, or what you could aspire to do in the future.
Terry Sprouse is author of the forthcoming book, "How to Start Your Own House Fix-up and Rental Business in Your Spare Time."
Outdated and tired.......2006-04-08
I'm not sure what some of these readers are smoking but this book has to be about 10-15 years out of date. In it's day I'm sure it was well worth the money but time to upgrade!
Best Real Estate Flipping book I have ever read!.......2005-08-15
This book was the best Real Estate book I have ever read! Yes, it is geared towards people would want to do the work themselves. But even if you wanted to hire contractors to complete the work, you could learn the ins and outs of what the job would take to finish under budget and looking great. There was a section on steam heaters, most people would think that section would be a waste of time. I found it very interesting considering there is not much written on that subject. It sure would come in handy in an old house that others past by because there was a problem with a steam heater and they figured it would require a complete new heater. I loved his straight foward approach, not a get rich quick info-merical! The best part of the book was all the before and after pictures, most authors just tell you how great a project can turn out, this author shows you! I plan to re-read it again to ensure I got EVER tip and idea inside. Forget the rest and buy the best.
Excellent book.......2004-11-13
This book is well written and obviously spoken from someone who has done it. As a remodeler myself this book hit it all on the mark. Ignore the no down payment and other get rich crap. If you have the skills, time, smarts and fortitude this book will show you the low down.
Fantastic renovation guide.......2002-01-25
Dworin is a clear, engaging writer. He presents the pros and cons of this business honestly. I read this large book in a few days and was eager to go out and start rehab-ing straight away. I would recommend this book for 1) anyone thinking of doing this as a business, 2) anyone contemplating remodeling their own home, or 3) anyone thinking of buying a home.

Outstanding Ideas.......2001-06-14
I picked this book up hurriedly and found it to be excellent. I have a gift shop that I have displayed some of my crafts that I made and I am unable to keep them in the store for the enjoyment of my customers. Everyone wanted to purchase the terracotta fountains especially. The book is easy to follow that any beginner would be able to do. I could not recommend it more highly.
Perk up your Patio!.......2000-04-11
This book has some wonderful (and beautiful) ideas for your yard and patio. Instructions for making wimsical painted tables, bird feeders from natural materials, fountains from stock terra-cotta, trellises, how to build and decorate birdhouses, how to make windsocks and banners as well as ideas for container gardening, planters, hanging pots, water gardens and more, I think it's a terrific book for do-it-yourself types!

Discipline has been given a bad rap, according to author and clinical psychologist Dr. Ruth Peters. In the purest sense, discipline means "teaching," using a combination of explanation, reasoning, and action to help children understand acceptable and unacceptable behaviors, explains Peters in It's Never Too Soon to Discipline. Too many parents equate discipline with harsh reprimands, spankings, and criticism. As a result, parents who are striving to create an intimate and child-sensitive household often shy away from disciplining children. We've all seen the upshot--resentful, out-of-control children and frustrated, overwhelmed parents.
The straightforward, "low-stress" program outlined here teaches parents how the fundamentals of discipline can be applied to every stage of development, starting with defiant 1-year-olds. For babies and toddlers, Peters recommends, the most realistic tactics are to ignore the behavior, distract the child, and change the scenery. Six-year-olds respond well to negotiation, bargaining, and clear consequences. Other chapters include "Challenging Kids" (with an excellent discussion on "How Parents Lose Control"), "Outmanipulating the Manipulator," "The Smiley Face System for Ages Three Through Six," and "Single Parents and Stepfamilies." Peters's writing style is anecdote-driven and advice-laden, which can sometimes seem formulaic. Parents who are looking for deeper conversations about guiding children's behavior may also want to read Robert Coles's The Moral Intelligence of Children: How to Raise a Moral Child. --Gail Hudson
Book Description
As a respected child psychologist and mom with more than twenty years' experience, Dr. Ruth Peters knows how quickly children-even those younger than two-can gain the upper hand in the parent-child relationship. Even in the earliest interactions with their children, parents can inadvertently encourage bad patterns of behavior and set the stage for future problems. Dr. Peters outlines a behavior management system with clear, consistent, and fair rules that are connected to solid consequences and meaningful rewards. The book features: * A smiley-face chart to help kids know what is expected of them* Tips for using the system to handle socially inappropriate behavior (such as aggression, bossiness, and tantrums) and developmental issues (such as sleep problems and toilet training) * A chapter on attention deficit disorder* Specific advice for single parents and stepfamilies. This parent-friendly, practical guide is the first step toward bringing order to every home.
Customer Reviews:
Only has standard information.......2006-03-16
If you have read other books about discipline this one will bring nothing new to you. I ordered it because with a title like this I thought perhaps it would give some information that I could use for my baby so we can try to curtail things early on, but the advice it gave for the first year was to simply push their hand away from what they shouldn't do and distract them. Hmmm...my baby is a little advanced for that not to mention it was quite obvious. I quickly read over the rest of the book and set it aside. It has nothing new.
Here are some examples of what you will find:
Page 34: Cardinal Rules for Parenting
1. Be consistant.
2. Take a cool, calm, and almost nonchalant attitude when giving out consequenses.
Her negative consequenses include:
1. taking away
2. time-out
3. Setting (in which she actually discusses the time a child should be in time out)
4. keeping the child in time-out
5. use of the timer
I don't think that section was titled properly.
She deals with types of parenting styles, types of children, her view of behavior management, her smilely face system for ages 3-6, sleep problems, meal time wars, and potty training. Then gives advice for dealing with specific types of inappropriate behavior and children with ADD/AHDD (only 10 pages for that) and some ideas for single parents.
The only real definite plus was that I really enjoyed quizzes that she gives quite often to see if a particular topic applies to you. They were quite fun.
Really, she just runs throught major issues and, I think, states the obvious. If you haven't read about disciplining (teaching not just punishing) children this is a standard book. I didn't see anything objectionable in it. But if you've read and read and are looking for something insightful look elsewhere.
I give it three starts since it isn't bad advice, just nothing truly original.
I'd recommend "The Blessing of the Skinned Knee" or "To Kindle a Soul".
To Anonymous - where were you in math class?.......2004-12-06
I have not read this book, I was just looking through reviews. Anonymous seems not to understand the grammatical and mathematical terms first, second, third, etc. If s/he thinks that the fifth year means we are talking about a five-year-old, than what does s/he think about the first year? A one-year-old? Then how do you refer to a 0-12-month-old baby? The 0th year? Anonymous: the first year means from birth to 12 months, the second year means from 12-24 months (one-year-old), the third year means 24-36 months (two-year-old) and so on. Therefore the book phrased the age categories absolutely correctly. Thought you should know... Now I am interested in reading the book!
Who edited this book?.......2004-12-05
After reading the three reviews on this book, I purchased a copy. I noticed that in chapter 1, "Understanding the Stages of Development" there are some BIG errors with the layout. Under the heading "The Third Year" on page 14, it discusses 2 year old behavior. Under the heading "The Fourth Year" on page 16, it discusses the behavior of a 3 year old. This mismatched problem continues throughout the rest of the chapter and completely left out the behavior of 7 year olds, for which that heading, "The Sixth and Seventh Years" covers 5 and 6 year old behavior. I kept wondering if anyone who wrote the previous reviews actually read this book. If you can ignore the multiple errors and just read through the book, I think it's worth three stars.
A Good Place to Begin.......2003-04-05
This book clearly outlines a plan of discipline that will surely make your "out of control children" sit up and take notice. Dr. Peters details many of the basic principles of good, effective discipline and that is extremely helpful though not terribly directive for parents who don't know HOW to discipline. However, continuing on into the book, you find a step by step approach to follow. I think the approach could be very effective on "out of control" children, but not so suitable for children who are generally well behaved but have a few select issues that need stronger discipline. I found no direction in tailoring the program to your specific child. I also found the use of charts and daily rewards a bit too cumbersome, and a parent would need to be very disciplined himself to follow the program perfectly... something I think many parents of undisciplined children struggle with in the first place. I question the use of daily rewards as incentive to behave. I want my children to "choose" proper behaviour because it is the right thing to do, not because they get a toy from the "grab bag". I would prefer to use a more balanced style that doesn't teach the children to expect rewards for proper behaviour. I did enjoy the book and the way Dr. Peters believes in parents taking charge of their children. It was a worthy read.
I guess I'm at that stage in life.......2002-03-22
I bought this book because my older brother and his wife had a baby a few years back, and I wanted to know how to treat him in a way that would benefit him. I would always just spoil him, and I noticed that he would throw temper tantrums when he couldn't get what he wanted. Of course, when other people were around, the parents usually gave in to the wants of the toddler. This book educated me in how to deal with my nephew during temper tantrums (and other times when he didn't listen to his parents), and I am very excited when I see my nephew and understand how to take care of him in a way that benefits him the best.

LIFT NOT THIS BOOK IN HASTE: as it will not soon return to rest.......2007-01-09
Had not Master James Joyce sought "silence, cunning and exile" abroad as an escape from paralysis, but had stayed home to do full battle for his own family's full well-being, had small James Joyce never suffered the profound intellectual, psychological and spiritual trauma of a good Jesuit education from a very tender, impressionable and an early age, he might one day have aspired to write an autobiography as well as this. He might one day have achieved the skill of this record of Dublin life.
When you pick up this book you will not swiftly set it back down. Too hastily it records, quick as the rushing River Liffey, the most brilliant observations, leaving you breathless for more precise information, yet grateful for the wonderful song, as does this writing sing gloriously, sorrowfully, gaily, deeply, full throated, a lusty and a keening song.
This book reads like the RIver Liffey washing its way through dear, dirty Dublin city, flashing brilliant, reflecting all without scorn, carrying her commerce, her sewage, her refuse and the occasional dead body, ever fascinating to regard from over the bridge.
Had Stephan Dedalus himself not sought his lonesome refuge in silence and exile and quiet cunning and inscrutable humor, but thrown himself whole heartedly with all of his might and mind and body and soul into Dublin's life, without paralysis but throbbing with life, he might have hoped to have recorded this present work. Had Dedalus loved, he might have written this book.
Allow this work wash over you like the shining, singing black waters of the River Liffey. Let these waters pass impenetrably, hypnotically, beneath the bridge as you toss bread to the calling gulls below. Watch fascinated these laughing, sobbing, roaring waters pass beneath your bridge as you learn and meditate and reflect, unmoving and still in their wonderful grasp.
You will not quickly let down this book.
Certainly we now require dangling commentary for this song of Dublin. We now need historical texts to supplement our reading of allusions to a history that has been censored, erased, never written, ever oral, but whose speakers now have gone on. Much of this history died under the ice blue cruel pencil of the office of the British Censor at that dark enslaved time, a pencil which so callously and calmly vivisected our living history, and cut out its beating heart alive. Bless for ever the dear and learned and wise and courageous scribe, Sean O'Casey, for what magnanimously little of it he has preserved so well for our benefit herein. No, you will not soon set down this historical, this lyrical text.
Let us rather pursue his clues and singing slight indicationsand recapture our own mighty history, erased by the British opppressor. Let us hold our own history to our greiving, consoled heart like a hero fallen in war, as a babe that is born too soon and is gone, a holding as vain as stopping for our careful examination roaring waters of our mighty mother the River Liffey passing on to the father the sea beneath our dear Dublin bridge.
Take and read, for this is our body. Lift then this book, and laugh, and weep, without full knowledge yet fully illuminated and comforted and consoled and befriended and accompanied by all those who have gone before us.
For, you will not soon set her down again.
