Okay, I have a confession...I haven't read the book yet, and I accept that it's a basic primer...however, after reading other reviews a week ago, I decided to check out their website. I AM still a novice trader but I'm very serious about this business and have - in the course of my studies the past year - read most of the top trading books, availed myself of the "hottest" trading web sites, tutorials, etc., and demoed numerous highly rated/expensive software programs. Now, the thing that sorta shocked me on the CompleteTrader site was that their proprietary indicators are similar to some I paid $600 for from a well-known trader with a respected 30 year record! Not only that, but the Brock's versions of these (proven) indicators is actually MORE advanced than those I purchased...go figure. Anyway, tomorrow I'm e-mailing them to sign up for $55 and get six months of their service. The way I look at it, I could've saved myself $545!...ouch! As for the book...come on, so what if they're trying to market their website?...it's value for the $$ (in my humble "novice" oppinion) is one helluva bargain! So...I'm giving their little primer 4-stars simply based on the quality of their website. I know a lot of new/or aspiring traders read the amazon reviews, so I hope my recommendation might be of service to some of you. Really, check out what they have to offer...backtest it, try it on paper...I think you might be surprised at its usefulness. By the way, I don't know the Brock's and this is the first "review" I've ever written.

Beginners Guide to becoming a Complete Trader trading option.......2000-05-18

This is a very, very, basic document on Options. If one wants athorough understanding of options, the CBOE has a large selection ofdocuments at no cost. They also offer seminars throughout the country also for free.

The best characterization of the Book is an "InfoMercial" for a product they sell. Infact when you go to their Web Page, ... and subscribe using the special offer, you will receive a copy for Free.

Disappointment.......2000-05-07

Disappointed: I found the book "The Beginner's Guide to Becoming a Complete Trader Trading Stock Options" to be a big disappointment. Why? While the first part of the book provides a very basic definition to the most basic types of options trading, the remainder of the book was dedicated to a brief overview of some "proprietary" trading indicators. To utilize these "proprietary" indicators developed by the authors, you have to pay to become a member of the author's web site. The useful information provided by this book is available free of charge from many brokers and other sources. If you are serious about learning trading of options, this is not the guide.

Great introduction to option trading.......2000-05-05

This book is a great introduction to options trading. It's very easy to read and they have put it into words the average person can understand. I have been in 4 put options for the month of April, and have not been in them for more than 6 days and made money on everyone. I purchased an April put option at $4 5/8 and sold it 6 days later for $9 1/2, that's a $4 7/8 profit. I purchased another put option in April for $2 7/8 and sold it for $6 the next morning, again that's a $3 1/8 profit. Whooo! Hooo! This book is a great learning tool. I highly recommend it for the beginner and the experienced trader.

A must for the options trader!.......2000-04-09

I am new to the options market so I needed a good crash course in options trading. This is it! It cleared up a lot of the mystery and misinformation surrounding stock options. Despite the book's limited length, it covers the basics of options and you don't even have to be a market guru to understand it. The only drawback is that this is essentially an infomercial in book form. This is not a serious drawback though, because the book is extremely informative even without subscribing to the author's website. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to realistically increase their success in the market!

Detail but dated and incompleted.......2007-04-06

This book is focus on putting new veneer or laminated board on old cabinet, not what I was looking for as refacing the existing face with stain or new paint. Even on the subject of installing new cabinet face, it lacks the final finish (clear coat, stain)suggestion. The pictures are way dated and not inspiring. it's a good wood work book, but not very helpful if you want to evaluate different options to modernize your kitchen such as sanding and painting the existing panels.

Has it all.......2007-03-12

I don't think I could have gotten the project done without this book. Organized in perfect order. Many, many techniques to make the job look great and save time making everything fit. I talked to some professional cabinet refacers and they weren't even aware some of the techniques used in this book that made the result look great.

However, one item that is missing is the technique for getting a clean cut between 2 pieces of veneer that touch each other. It's the same overlay technique that wallpaper hangers use. Other than that, this book has it all.

I completed my refacing project in a few days after thoroughly
reading and following the instructions in this excellent book.
The MUT is an indispensable tool; I got mine at Rockler. This
book saved me a lot of money by doing the reface myself and not
paying someone to redo my kitchen. It's worth every penny!

Just as an aside..........2004-09-12

The MUT (multi-use tool) is now available from Rockler, rather than fabricating your own.

Read the book, found it interesting and thorough, but have not tried a whole job using it.

I have however used some of the techniques in spot repairing fire damage, and the concepts I learned in the book were helpful.

Decent manual - delivers what is promised.......2004-05-14

This book delivers exactly what it promises. I have used the techniques and they DO work. I would recommend this approach for the extremely budget minded renovator. By the way, the veneer he uses can be found easily online.

This is a good book for parents that like to do research on their own. I especially like that this book give you the standard treatment the doctor will recommened, vitamins and minerals to help certain conditions and herbs you can give. You can choose what you think is best for your little one.

This book was recommened by a friend and has been a wonderful reference tool for me as a mom. It tells of conventional treatment and natural treatment for various medical issues that come up in your children. I love the natural remedies because I don't want to over medicate my children. Great book that every parent should have.

This book abundantly illustrates the naturopathic central article of faith, that the body is run by a 'purposeful life spirit.' This book has saved me trips to the DR. and has helped me find ways to comfort my child. I have never been an "alternative" medicine parent but this book has made me believe in herbal remedies as opposed to conventional medicine for many things.

Easily referenced in alphabetical order with symptoms, conventional treatments, herbal and homeopathic remedies. Every parent needs to own a copy of this book!

MVP- Most Valuable Publication for Parents.....Available!!!.......2006-10-15

This book was the most important parenting book on my book shelf. It comforted me on late nights when my child (newborn-teens)might be up coughing, itching, or vomiting, etc. It gave me recommendations that I could do to help ease symptoms that my child was experiencing. While it is in no way a substitute for individual medical advise, it is an intelligent and practical guide. I often shared it with my pediatricians who were/are highly respected in their profession(and who were grateful for the varied information). It integrates Western and holistic medicine as well as provides wellness suggestions. I recommend it to EVERY parent that I know and I often give it as a shower gift or baby gift.

Jacques Raverat was a French painter who died of MS aged 40 in 1925. In 1911, he had married Gwen Darwin, granddaughter of the evolutionist and also an artist. They knew Virginia Woolf and Bloomsbury well and when they moved to the south of France for his health, their friendship blossomed in a series of long and poignant letters. The crucial bond was that between Jacques and Virginia. Their correspondence ranged far and wide. Informed by the depressions and uncertainties, the speculation and passion of their bohemian lives, these letters display a complex affinity between three artists facing their own mortality, their weaknesses and the price of their creativity. It is a friendship whose later substance and passion was entirely expressed by letter. Virginia Woolf & the Raverats is not only a complete record of their correspondence, but includes much previously unpublished material. None of the Raverat letters, the extracts from Gwen Raverat s other writings, her powerful sketches of her husband on his deathbed, nor Jacques paintings have been published before. Writer and critic Virginia Woolf was a close and personal friend of the painter Jacques Raverat and his wife Gwen. Jacques died from multiple sclerosis at the age of 40. In Virginia Woolf & The Raverats: A Different Sort Of Friendship, William Pryor has collected correspondences between Virginia, Jacque and Gwen. These letters embodied gossip, thoughts on the nature of friendship, religion, the endurance of pain, Jacques' anti-Semitism, Virginia's Sapphism, the differences between painting and writing, and other elements of their bohemian life styles.
