if you are like me, you might own several mosaic books. This one is one of my favorites! Here's why:

Clear,concise directions with good pictures-most projects could be done by a beginner but there are also MANY projects to make a more advanced artist happy.

Great variation of mosaics-this author covers some mosaics styles I've never seen in other books. Like making your own wire mesh base for cool animal mosaic sculptures-with enough how to pictures that even I can contemplate making one:), making several different shaped stepping stones-from scratch-these are GREAT-there are footprints and fish to die for. And unusual mosaic creations like windchimes and garden "cones".

This book helps you to think outside the box and many of these projects would look wonderful outside or inside as well. Well worth the $13 bucks that Amazon sells it for-highly recommended!

FABULOUS book. It was very well written..It was entertaining and humorous yet straight-forward and to the point. The stories were great, and I can only imagine how difficult it was for Linda Albi to raise two sets!! Twins certainly are a handful, but I cannot imagine now only having a single child. I LOVED this book and highly recommend it to anyone expecting or curious about raising twins..

I really wanted to like this book. There are so few books about raising twins and I hoped that this book would be an emotional and practical resource for me. It was neither. Beyond the ridiculous advice like, "Drink lots of [cow's] milk when you're nursing. When I was nursing I drank 8 glasses of milk a day." Does she think it goes down her throat and come our her nipples? That in order for human's to produce milk they need to drink cow's milk? The phrasing is forced and awkward because they try to throw formal words into their writing as though they sat with a thesaurus and tried to pick words that would make them seem smarter. I kept picking this book up and giving it chance after chance but every time I read it I'd be annoyed and frustrated. Pass this one by.

I am 12 weeks pregnant with twins, and this book has scared the bejesus out of me. These women had nothing but horror stories to tell - from being unable to exercise, walk, have sex, to bedrest and then sleepless nights for 9 months! even to having the whole family fall apart and the twins almost resulting in a divorce! While I realize this will be harder than my singleton pregnancies and births (which were incredibly easy), I don't appreciate being scared out of my wits.

For what this book proports to do: tell anecdotes of what it is like to be pregnant with twins, bring them into the world, and mother them for the first couple of years...it succeeds.

I stumbled upon this book mid-pregnancy with my fraternal twin boys, our only kids, in the summer of 1993 when it was first published. Because no one else I knew had twins, I depended upon these women's stories to guide me along. I found it very reassuring and reaffirming. I wish I had one now that my boys are about to turn seven and I have questions about schools and socialization. Let's face it..it isn't a clinical resource, it's a support group in book form for the sometimes isolating and ever-challenging adventure of mothering twins.

I re-read this book and was going to write Tony a thank you note for a truly outstanding book that stands the test of time. Most financial books today only cover one aspect or another of the marketplace. Tony's books cover all angles and give a wonderful in depth blue print for the person who is willing to follow the advice given. Tony's book "The Stock Trader" is a must read accompanyment to this book and is worth the money. No other book on the market takes you inside a trader's mind and walks you through the trades as this does. I cannot recommend Tony's work enough and I am proud to consider him a friend. He is the happiest, most successful person I know. We can all strive to attain his example of success.

I like the way Tony guides you to the world of stock trading. He defenetly provides the neccessary information for beginners.

Just keep in mind that beginners NEED to go beyond the basics and learn more practical strategies that can show them specific ways to make money from the stock market.

Day trading is all about making buy and sell decisions. When you place a trade either your going to lose money or your going to make profits, and some other times you will break even. Trading doesn't have to be complicated and should never be regarded as gambling. Trading is a game of strategy.

That's why The most important aspect of stock trading is the knowledge FILTER you employ to make your buy & sell decisions. There are many "fantastic" strategies outhere, but you need to test them in order to discover which ones help you the most.

Complicated systems that rely on a "boat load" of technical indicators can make you slow, and being slow in this game can be as dangerous as not knowing what to do in the first place.

I think the worst thing that can happen to a beginner stock trader is to get information overload. It's better to go step by step, and test a simple strategy that can show you how to focus on concrete ways to make money.

Fortunatly there are some good sites on the web today that can show you how to trade in practical and effective ways. One of those sites is Sharp Trades ( SharpTrades com )

In the end, stock investing & trading is all about buying and selling according to your knowledge FILTER. Once you master and follow youre proven filter parameters like a clock, you can expect to start making serious amounts of cash on a consistent basis.

10 Stars !!!!

This book has saved me a fortune. When ever I'm in a slump, I stop trading and read this book again. It always gets me back on track. My main problem was I wasn't letting the market tell me which direction to trade. I was trading on the long side of the market when I should have been on the short side and vise versa. I've stopped watching the tape so closely, and focus now on general market conditions for my long or short signals. Now I don't get caught on the wrong side of the market as much. I feel that you can take many pages of this book and say that each one of those pages is worth far more than the price of admission. That is my honest opinion.

By a strange quirk of fate he is reunited with his brother, albeit under extremely disheartening circumstances. The rough-and-tumble adventure is played out against the backdrop of nineteenth century China with its pirates, warlords, bandits, and tongs. Tod meets a Scottish archaeologist, Professor MacKay - his daughter, Rill - Lieutenant Chang of the Shanghai Police - a soft-spoken Chinese wanderer, Quang Key and his mute Mongolian giant companion, Hu Ling. Along with these newfound friends, Tod becomes embroiled in a deadly intrigue concerning the hidden tomb of a Shang dynasty princess and her burial robe of pure jade. Tod and his newfound friends soon find themselves in a life or death struggle against the beautiful but sadistic bandit queen, Dongfang, known and feared throughout the northeastern provinces of China as Madame Fang, who also seeks to possess the fabled burial robe.
