Life of an real American.......2002-04-21
Ed Gooding served his nation as a soldier on the battlefields of Europe and returned home and served the State of Texas as a dedicated peace officer. This man's service to his country over the past 60 years is amazing. I am proud to call him a friend.

Giordano Bruno, the subject of Michael White's The Pope and the Heretic, was a thoroughly modern intellect whose fate was to have lived during the late 16th century, a period characterized in large part by the Inquisition, the Church's monomaniacal suppression of what it deemed heretical thought. A "cerebral maverick," Bruno believed in and wrote about an infinite universe--something beyond Copernicus's heliocentric system, the human origins of the concept of the Trinity, and a possible amalgamation of Roman Catholic doctrine with those of ancient religions. His real crime, at least in Rome's eyes, was his belief in "free inquiry." White's biography is exemplary, in no small part because of his concise, crystal-clear discussions of the period's intellectual beliefs, the delicately tempestuous battle between papal and civil authorities, and his detailed, illuminating look at Bruno's trial and subsequent burning at the stake. The Pope and the Heretic is a trustworthy and enlightening entrance into the dizzyingly complex age of the Renaissance. --H. O'Billovich
Book Description
Giordano Bruno challenged everything in his pursuit of an all-embracing system of thought. This not only brought him patronage from powerful figures of the day but also put him in direct conflict with the Catholic Church. Arrested by the Inquisition and tried as a heretic, Bruno was imprisoned, tortured, and, after eight years, burned at the stake in 1600. The Vatican "regrets" the burning yet refuses to clear him of heresy.
But Bruno's philosophy spread: Galileo, Isaac Newton, Christiaan Huygens, and Gottfried Leibniz all built upon his ideas; his thought experiments predate the work of such twentieth-century luminaries as Karl Popper; his religious thinking inspired such radicals as Baruch Spinoza; and his work on the art of memory had a profound effect on William Shakespeare.
Chronicling a genius whose musings helped bring about the modern world, Michael White pieces together the final years -- the capture, trial, and the threat the Catholic Church felt -- that made Bruno a martyr of free thought.

The Other Reviews Have It Right.......2006-10-24
Okay, I meant to review this book, but others have beaten me to all significant criticisms. Let me say just one thing in its favor then: if you've forgotten or neglected Bruno all your reading life, this little teaser of a book WILL make you want to know more!
Anachronistic and Ideological.......2005-10-02
This book is far from being either a thorough or balanced biography of Bruno. When its not digressing into the author's sweeping and judgmental generalizations about history - "For such people, everyday life was an agony and the society in which they lived was almost stagnant...all but a few... spent most of their time inebriated" - and his demonization of Christianity, it focuses only on Bruno's arrest and trial and covers only in bad summary or not at all the rest of his life. White rips on Catholicism and Protestantism beyond the facts, yet depicts Renaissance intellectuals anticipating a supposedly true faith of modern scientific theories and method as humanity's salvation. What few and poor citations and footnotes are provided - "Christian doctrine does not evolve; it is based upon cast-in-stone tenets and therefore cannot develop or offer anything radical or original." - are too little to justify the sweeping judgments, and leave one confused as to whether the Hollywood style dialogues between Bruno and his confessor are actual quotes or White's embelishments.
Its no secret that the churches and governments of Europe abused their power severely during the last 1900 years. A lot of the bleakness of situation that White describes is true. But he goes beyond history to paint a black and white picture of a purely evil church and intellectuals martyred for their belief in scientific methods and theories that DIDN'T YET EXIST. The complexity of the historical situation and the intelectual relationships between the Christian clergy and scholars is glazed over; the motives and reasons for the atmosphere of suppresion are chalked off solely to the evil ignorance and greed of every single person of power in the church. The complexity of the crossover identities of European Christian scholars and their struggle to reconcile their faith and observations goes out the window - White has Bruno convenienently seeing the good in everything mainstream science currently cheers, and totally condemning everything it currently despises. His treatment of Bruno's interests is completely anachronistic and belays all the tenets he held to that scientists would balk at, and vice versa.
This book isn't about Bruno's views - its about White's. Like a bad Hollywood movie set against a historical backdrop, this is more about what's going on now then what happened back then.
religion and burning people ..........2005-08-13
It is strange, that religion and burning in the history of mankind frequently lie together so near: momentarily the assassination attempts of Islamic fundamentalists in New York, London, Madrid and elsewhere, or (on the other hand) the million humans, who became victims of the Inquisition of the catholic church in the Middle Ages. Giordano Bruno has been one of the most famous mourners. Because he questioned the Ptolomaei conception of the world of an earth, around which everything circles, and because he tried to replace the earth-centric-theory by an analysis, which postulated a lot of moving solar systems (plausibly spoken from today's view), in which there is no hierarchical order, - therefore he had to accept more and more furious attempts against his person, which wanted to force his obedience. Apparently unteachable he classified the subject not as passive nullity directed of God, but as active, self-constructing substance. The theories of the Vatican of the case of sin and of the predetermination of the fate Giordano Bruno rejected as life-strange. "The general opinion is not always the perfect truth..." Giordano Bruno today is still quoted. Such remarks produced expensive, bitter consequences: On 17 February 1600 he publicly was burned on the Campo di Fiori in Rome after eight years torture and dungeon detention. Hundreds of years the burning of disbelieving people seemed to be the major task of the Christian denomination. However today the Pope-administration gradually makes some steps backwards, remorseful: On February 18, in the year 2000, cardinal Angelo Sodano, the undersecretary of state of the Vatican, expressed the "deep regret" of the catholic church (according to ZENITH NEWS AGENCY with regard to the death sentence against Giordano Bruno) in a letter to the participants of a congress in Napoli, which took place for the memory of this Italian philosopher in the local theological faculty 2000. It was a "terrible death", "a sad episode in newer Christian history". Respect considering the dignity and the conscience of humans, who look persistently for the truth: this is a level, in the present not yet all countries, confessions or population circles succeed to manage. The book of the British science journalist Michael White ("Science editor of British GQ Magazine") was criticized by some reviewers, because it has been written in a teenager-language, less scientific, more thrilling like an adventure-story. But on the other hand it is an easily reading, you can practice before you will fall asleep. Short before snoring you can brood about the fact, that religion (connected with the aim to burn people of "wrong" confession) did not yet disappear as a pattern of acting among the earth inhabitants 400 years later...
Unfocused and Unduly Light.......2004-09-06
I have a bad record of choosing books from the Airport Bookstores. I have made some really attrocious choices. This one is not that bad, but I could not recommend it to anyone. If I would have read the inside flap I would have realised that Michael White was the "Science Editor of British GQ Magazine" --- I did not know that anyone who read GQ would be even interested in Science, but if they are, there taste would be light to the point of idiocy, like this book.
The title is inane enough. It lured me in like a sucker... I was interested in reading the counterpoint of what would be two personalities --- the Pope and Bruno. But the Pope does not even really appear in the book.
The main problem is twofold:
1) Lack of any discernable organisation. The book is a mess. It is hard to put together any discernable record of the like of Bruno after I read this --- was he in Frankfurt first and then Paris? Maybe it was the other way around?
This means that White mixes everything up, chronology, main themes and the roles of people in the book. Ideas are not at all well developed. There is a sometimes peurile feeling about his writing style: when an idea is developed a little he switches to other things --- one feels that he is writing at times for the attention span of a 12- yr-old reader.
2) Weak development of themes inside the book. Scholastic ossification of the ideas of the Catholic Church is a great topic, but White's starts with a description of how Aristotle was always wrong on everything... and vaguely brushes him off as an almost personal hindrance to development of ideas. Such comic-book interpretations really show a lack of mastery of his subject.
White intimates a tremendous importance for the hermetic tradition, although he keeps this significantly nebulous (something that a reader of GQ or Omni might be interested in). As usual his work verges towards veneration for mysticism.
At the end of the day he should have marshalled his forces with more discipline and spent the time on making this into a serious work that it should be, and as Bruno deserves. It appears that he merely cranked this one out. He will pay for this as readers such as I will never buy another of his books.
Back to the Thompson Twins Mr. White!
About the man and his suffering, not his ideas.......2004-03-30
Michael White succeeds in personalizing the heretic monk Giordano Bruno, giving us a more complete picture of the man than we find in other sources. His book educates us about the social, political, and religious environment in which Bruno lectured and wrote. We also feel his suffering at the hands of the Inquisition. Unfortunately, we learn less about Bruno's ideas, which covered a remarkably wide range of speculations. We are given only shorthand versions.
White's writing is very readable, but one sometimes wonders if all of it is based on documented fact. For example, he writes that "A sudden hush fell over the room; the judges sat motionless. Bruno, his confidence clearly ebbing away, his energy almost drained, looked around the room once more, seeing the still faces, the eyes of witnesses quickly averted." How does White know all these details? Passages like this read as if the author were using literary invention to make the dry records of the Inquisition more interesting.

This guidebook is one of few aimed at its select audience (professional food writers), but you don't have to be a pro to appreciate it. It's also a great resource for all of those self-publishing cookbook authors out there. Authors Barbara Gibbs Ostmann and Jane L. Baker, both experienced newspaper foodies, culled information from a fistful of sources (Williams Sonoma and Food & Wine among them) to create their guide. The results should be a relief both to food writers and to the cooks who rely on their recipes. The Recipe Writer's Handbook addresses recipe-writing style, spellings of common (and not so common) ingredients, definitions of cooking terminology, and nutritional analysis. It stresses, above all else, accuracy, consistency, and clarity; it admonishes the recipe developer to assume nothing about what the readers know (apparently, one editor was asked by a reader how far to drop drop cookies; another got a call from a woman who wanted to know whether her new oven was preheated). Most interesting is the final section, in which food professionals wax philosophical on what makes a good recipe good.

Perfect Cookbook Author for Dummies Book!.......2007-07-25
I loved this book! This book addressed EVERY area that I was doing wrong. I started writing my book without a guide and something in me told me to get a guide just in case. So after browsing on amazon, I found this book and immediately ordered. I stopped writing and immediately began to read and study the tips in this book. I was thrilled to see a couple of pages on how to select the right nutritional software, because I was struggling about how to select the right vendor! I did exactly as recommended and found a great source. If you are writing a cookbook, stop writing and purchase this book before you go any further!
Wow!.......2005-12-16
Wow! That's all I can really say. You think you know everything; you know your conversions, you're totally informed about your ingredients, you've made the recipe a dozen times.... BUT... just because you can follow the recipe doesn't mean other people can. This book will help you make your recipes standardized, readable, and useful for everyone from your daughter who can't cook to save her soul to your sister, the professional chef.
You don't have to be a food service pro to appreciate this book. If you've ever considered cataloguing your family recipes, making a church or community group cookbook, or submitting your famous chicken-artichoke lasagna recipe to Better Homes and Gardens, start here. It's an easy read and an invaluable reference. Wonderful!
Book of the decade.......2005-10-01
Great Book, I can't put it down. Great job, this book has everything needed to write recipes, what they couldn't put in they gave resources to find. I have used some of those suggested resource books, and am pretty amazed so far.
The Best Source For My Cookbook.......2005-09-15
I purchased this book while writing a book proposal for my children's food cookbook "The Petit Appetit Cookbook". This book saved me many potentially embarassing food writing faux pas with my editor. The pages are bent and highlighted, but I still rely on it when writing articles and recipes for publication.
Don't write without it........2005-08-30
I purchased this book and it's pretty beat up already from having referenced it frequently for the past three years. I began food writing on a whim and thought this book would be helpful. It helps the novice writer become a pro. What more can you ask for.

Customer Reviews:
good recipes but some hard to follow.......2007-01-09
I like this cookbook in that there are some easy and great ideas. I am not a beginner cook but am new to indian cuisine. The only problem I have with this book is that some things are hard to follow, like some steps are left out or are not clear like cooking times. I made a few recipes and some never looked even remotely like the picture, and I read and re-read everything numerous times. I tried a chapati recipe and it turned out dense, plain and nothing like I had tried in a restaurant. Maybe I am just bad at this new type of cooking, but I have always been a naturally good cook and was surprised at how frustrating some of these things were to understand. I will keep at it though and hope to tweak things so they do turn out. I want to be good at this, we do not have an indian restaurant where I live and I love it so.
Tasty and practical.......2006-12-04
Recipes are tasty and inspiring. What is also nice: there are quite a few dishes that can be prepared very quickly.
Made a cook out of me.......2006-05-30
For years, I only cooked to survive: fried eggs, pizza, pasta, or at most stir something my wife was making.
After visiting the Benares restaurant in London, [...], I immediately bought this book...with hopes someone else more skilled would take over. After helping cook 6 of the recipes for guests, I discovered once you have the ingredients (not expensive in an Indian or Asian grocery store) on hand, many of the recipes are quite easy and always worth it. These are fresh, multi-faceted flavors that make cooking fun and worth the effort. Since Nov 2005, I've been making at least one recipe a week, sticking exactly to the book, and the five-star Benares restaurant has a branch in my home now. I take no credit. These recipes are the only ones worth making. I look at others in other books and see the difference upfront: they are either fatty, bland, colorless or canned, all of which are incentives not to cook. My wife has stepped aside; (well, most work nights she's a life saver, and she'll greatly appreciate a break on Saturday.) In fact she's calling from the kitchen right now asking for one of the khajoor ka khaja (date & orange pastries) in the fridge.
Cooking these recipes is one of the few things that actually takes my mind completely off work. The sequence of adding exotic spices to a hot pan makes me feel like a sorcerer. So far, most recipes do not use the oven, which is good because with an oven you do not get the joy of watching the concoction evolve before your eyes and nose.
I could easily list 30 recipes in this book to die for, but if you're wondering where to start, something that is simple, try the Doi Maach (spiced fish with yogurt), which only takes about 30 minutes to reach the dinner table. The sweet tomato chutney is a staple around here now, and I cook double portions once a month and give jars away as gifts. Finally, I recommend growing coriander yourself, since it is used in everything. We use an extra coffee bean grinder to grind dry spices. A mini-processor is also a must-have. Enjoy!
Exciting! A nice step in the right direction........2005-02-09
Thanks to the CA raisin board for investing in a cookbook that does more than some of the other Indian cookbooks in terms of educating us Indians and also those non-Indians that love our food.
Some recipes are shamelessly promoting raisins but otherwise, the book is a nice new genre Indian cookbook.
The photographs are fresh, make Indian food more than just the usual fare we take it to be. The dishes are simple yet innovative and there is good variety.
This shall be a book I will use from time to time as and when I need an idea.
Bravo!
Excellent.......2004-09-17
One of the best books on Indian cooking that I have ever cooked from. Bravo!!

informative.......2007-01-11
has great info about buying from good breeders. im much more comfortable buyig a dog now.
your purebred puppy secon edition.......2007-01-10
This book is great, it gave me alot of information I was not aware of. It has helped me narrow down breeds I would like. It also gives alot of questions to ask that I never would have thought of
Exactly what I needed.......2007-01-09
This book is very well written and the perfect guide for picking the right breed for you. My thanks to the author for doing the research for me and making it understandable.
An excellent choice!.......2007-01-04
Reading Michelle Welton's book is like going to a good friend and saying, "What do you think?" She doesn't pull punches, she gives sound, reasonable advice, and yet she manages to discuss the hows and whys of purebred dog shopping without sounding condescending. So many other purebred books read like PR press for a given breed, putting a positive spin on everything and downplaying the various pitfalls inherent. Michelle candidly explains the pros and cons, and her advice about what to look for in a breeder is sound reading for breeders and shoppers alike.
Even though we have two dogs and are not looking to get another right now, I still sometimes enjoy picking up this book and thumbing through it. In addition to the overview, Michelle gives historical information on each breed, and it's interesting to learn how various breeds came about and why they were bred the way they were.
Overall, I think it's an excellent book. I highly recommend it.
Taken with a grain of salt, this is an absolute must!.......2007-01-02
My husband and I were shopping for our first dog together and I really wanted to make sure that we got the right dog for us. I am involved in and have many vet friends, and vet tech friends who are involved in rescue. I know how many dogs end up in rescue or worse, because a family just can't handle the choice they made.(Often based on looks or childhood ideals of a breed). I definitely did not want to have to give up my dog, or live with a dog that just didn't fit in my lifestyle. I did not want my dog or myself to be miserable. So I started looking for a book that would help me make the right choice for our family.
This book is a gold standard, which you should try to follow as best as you can, but use your own common sense. While there were one or two things I did not agree with on diet recommendations and pricing, 99.5% of this book is amazing. It helps size you up, narrow down a list of breeds, and is honest about pros and cons, not like a sugar coating, rose colored glasses description that many breed clubs or breeders might be entitled to tell you.
It also tells you how to find breeders and properly screen them, including questions, and red flags to watch for. It even helps you to screen puppy personalities and read health clearances.
This is an absolute must for a prospective dog owner, it will ensure that you get the right family member and secure a relationship that will last a lifetime.

Book Description
Innovative, stimulating and challenging book combines the art of paperfolding with making polyhedra-based models. Projects range from the relatively simple cube and tetrahedron to such mind-boggling fabrications as the double pentagonal pyramid and the truncated hexadecahedron. Instructions and diagrams included.
Customer Reviews:
Pretty sweet.......2007-04-01
This book really has a fair amount of really cool models to make. If found the directions relatively easy to follow. The directions are actually drawn on computer or something which has its advantages and disadvantages. Pictures can have hands that get in the way and inadequate directions on how to fold it even though it shows segments of steps through the pictures.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the book since this was -$10.
Inexpensive Reference for Modular Enthusiasts.......2003-02-24
This slim volume has a some nice features that make up for a lack of illustrations and model photos, including a clever pentagon template, tips for cutting equilateral triangles & hexagons, and suggestions for cutting multiple pieces for the projects. I especially enjoyed working with the triangle, simple square, and the spike ball modules, which I used to make solid, satisfying models. The "triangle edge module" can be used to make a nice tetrahedron or an icosahedron (which helped me see the relationship between that shape and a dodecahedron). I skipped a couple of spiky models that required glue, but I was generally very pleased with the book.
It's cheap. You can do better for a few more bucks........2000-10-05
It's about the size of a grade-school workbook. The pictures are confusing and need a bit of interpretation to clarify what the author is getting at.
As an experienced paper folder, I found the designs and the instructions lacking.
As to the beginners perspective, for entertainment on a long train ride with my younger brother, I brought this book and another geometric origami book "Unit Origami" by Tomoko Fuse.
My brother was a complete novice. He first attempted a few projects from "3-D Geometric Origami : Modular Polyhedra." He seemed a bit discouraged through the whole process, however, we were pretty bored so he attempted to complete few anyway. The finished products didn't hold up very well and they didn't look very pretty either.
He was about to give up on origami altogether. I handed him the Unit Origami book, and he took off. He was an origami folding fanatic for the whole week we were staying with our relatives.
I loved this book.......2000-05-28
I'm a big fan of the origami, and I think this book is great. It has a lot of very nice projects, it has easy-to-follow instructions, and you can create different models with the basic module. I've already made a lot of the projects, and the result was espectacular!
A fantastic book for enthusiasts!.......1999-09-09
I really enjoy this book. It combines the beauty of origami with the principles of geometry. It gives instructions for simple modular origami, telling you how to make the finished shapes as large and complex or small and simple as you like. It gives room for countless variations on the techniques taught here. My friends are amazed when I show them my latest creations and tell them that in one shape there are 72 pieces of paper!
Book Description
"This text is excellent and very timely. Philip Michael Stahlâs second volume is the perfect supplement to his Conducting Child Custody Evaluations because it deals with specific issues of great concern to evaluators: parental alienation, allegations of sexual abuse, domestic violence, move-away situations, and high conflict families. The chapter dealing with child considerations is also very well done. His discussion of developmental considerations is clear and supported by the latest research in the field. I also liked his treatment of childrenâs reaction to parental conflict, weighing the needs of the individual child with the needs of the sibling group, and giving the child a voice while protecting their privacy. I also appreciated his discussion of components of the evaluatorâs recommendation, use of psychological testing, Rosemary Vasquezâs discussion of cultural issues, tackling the terror of testifying and ethical issues. Phil Stahl has written a very important text. It is timely, well written, and comprehensive. Nice work!!!" --Hugh McIsaac, Oregon Family Institute When performing a custody evaluation, how do professionals deal with the issue of domestic violence? What impact does one parentâs moving away have on the evaluation? How should an evaluator handle high-conflict divorces? Over the past five to ten years, there has been a significant increase in the use of child custody evaluations by the courts. At the same time, the issues have become more complex and difficult. In this book, the author provides a theoretical and practical understanding of many of the factors that make custody evaluations complex. A key component is the integration of disparate research findings into a comprehensive resource that will enable the evaluator and the court to understand these complex issues. A second component is to provide a thorough understanding of the fact that divorce brings with it a set of complex needs, and evaluators and the courts must develop a paradigm for weighing these needs in a comprehensive manner. This book provides that paradigm.
Customer Reviews:
Rich man's expert.......2005-08-15
As a psychologist in private practice in Danville, CA specializing in child custody evaluations and well known in child custody circles as the "rich man's expert" he encourages you to use the services of an evaluator. It often takes more than 4 months and costs in California $1,500.00 per parent and up.
"If common sense dictates, the use of identical or similar words and phrases could simply reflect the telling of the truth, as in corroborating testimony. (excerpt from `High Conflict Divorce or Stalking by Way of Family Court? The Empowerment of a Wealthy Abuser in Family Court Litigation: Linda v. Lyle - A Case Study')" Stahl does not acknowledge that and offers no advice as to how to distinguish one situation from the other. This self proclaimed expert's own words say it best, "Explaining that the custody evaluation, which relegates the unlucky parent to the role of visitor, perhaps at best, is released only to the attorneys and not to the litigants because "it is a violation of confIdentiality for the parents to have a copy of the report."
Get what you can from his words but be prepared to pay dearly for opinions with very little science behind them.
Complex Issues in Child Custody Evaluations.......2000-09-20
An absolute must for any mental health professional who does any custody related work, or any attorney who ever has, or might, handle a divorce case with contested custody!Phil Stahl is one of the most coherent, literate and useful writers in this area; he has the experience, the knowledge and a great way of telling it all so that it makes a great deal of sense. No library is complete without this title!
What to know before you head into a custody evaluation.......2000-07-15
This book should definately be read by a lay person to obtain an understanding of the thinking in the custody evaluation process. An understanding of the family law process is a plus when reading the book. Generally, I found the book short of definitive guidance in the area of custody evalations and overpriced. Regardless of these shortfalls, the book is worth reading and consulting before treading the murky waters of a custody evaluation.
Complex Issues in Child Custody Evaluations.......2000-05-07
Highly comprehensive work in the area of child custody evaluations. Not for lay people. Highly recommended for psychologists and a must for Family Law attorneys dealing with child custody determinations.
Book Description
Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975) was one of the most significant sculptors of the 20th century and one of the most successful woman artists of her time. Published to accompany two exhibitions marking the centenary of Hepworth's birth, this is the first book to focus on specific themes in her work rather than offering a chronological survey. The generous color illustrations feature not only her best-known and most popular works, but also a selection never before photographed in color.

Key for Hepworth Research.......2001-11-25
Filled completely with images and information of Hepworth's pieces in the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum in St. Ives, this book (known as the bible to Hepworth researchers) provides key background information and provenance on a large portion of her works. With so few accurate resources for Hepworth available, this book is crucial for comparing other resources and for providing images of her work in all mediums in one collection. This is a valuable research tool.

Book Description
Born in Yorkshire in 1903, Barbara Hepworth was determined to become a sculptor despite the misgivings of her parents and the common attitude at the time that a woman studying sculpture was not to be taken seriously. She was part of the generation of British artists that included Henry Moore (with whom she studied in Leeds) and Ben Nicholson (whom she married), and her sculpture explored the forms of life--especially human life--as well as those of mathematics. From the beginning, her work displayed a monumental power, and after World War II it received far wider recognition and acclaim. Hepworth later experimented in new substances such as sheet metal, wire, and bronze, but her work always maintained its nobility, subtlety, and flawless rendering of surface. She died in 1975, after a long illness that did not prevent her from completing the work many consider to be her masterpiece: The Family of Man. A. M. Hammacher, who knew Barbara Hepworth for many years, has provided a highly readable, thorough, and intimate portrait of this great twentieth-century artist.

Customer Reviews:
An extraordinary life.......2002-01-29
Barbara Hepworth is an exceptional artist not yet sufficiently appreciated. That is why this book contributes to better understand the work of Hepworth, who was a contemporary and friend of Henry Moore, by describing her difficult life both in the personal sphere and also in her professional struggle and achievement.
Festing begins from an undoubtedly neutral point of depart, but the more she knew about Hepworth the more she became a vigorous praiser of her and of her work as well.
From the early years of Hepworth's career to the very day her studio in Saint Ives, at the west end of Britain, got fire and consumed her place and her life, Festing describes Hepworth feelings, thoughts and works, in a fluent and deep text. We have to thank the autor.
