En lo personal, ya leí el libro Padre Rico - Padre Pobre. Aunque este libro repite muchos de los consejos que el anterior, amplía la descripción de los diferentes inversionistas y da más detalles y características de los distintos cuadrantes. En lo personal, sí recomiendo este libro.

Si ya leyó Padre Rico Padre Pobre, puede ahorrarse el leer éste lbro. Es bastante repetitivo, cansado, y dice lo mismo que su libro anterior. Admás de que estoy casi seguro que todo es inventado. Mejor compre Warren Buffett de Robert Hagstrom, ese libro si esta basado en hechos reales y contiene extrategias probadas, además su lectura se hace más fluida y más interesante.

What A Blessing!.......2004-03-20

I bought this book ($25 or less) at Bishop Bonner's church, Refuge Temple, in Columbia, and it has been a blessing, and oh what a blessing! The miracles that God has worked on his behalf, the trials he overcame, and the lessons he learned bring so much light to what a person goes through in their own life. I have met him, sat under him in classes, and asked him questions, and the sincerity, consecration, and straightforwardness that he displays in real life comes through in the book. There is a powerful anointing on him and in this book, which is his testimony, and I thank God for leading me to buy it!

This book is an interesting juxtaposition of two things--Frank Lloyd Wright's complex dealings with a maverick, and some very rare, beautiful photos.

The first part of this is probably of interest to only Frank Lloyd Wright's fans. But those photographs are something else.

Most people know only the exterior of Hollyhock House--cold, forbidding, monolithic; but are unfamiliar with its breathtakingly beautiful interior--in this book, displayed with some photos in vivid color. In my opinion, the interior of this building is the most beautiful of all Frank Lloyd Wright houses; a masterpiece of interior design in the Prairie Style. As an added bonus, there are some extremely rare photos of Residence B--long-demolished, it was a Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece, probably unique in its use of mitred wood and corbeled posts. (I've never seen a house like it in my entire life).

The photos make this book a must-read, must-have part of your collection, suitable for display on a coffee table.

The best book on Hollyhock House.......2002-04-13

As the author of this book, I know that I have brought together a collection of drawings, archival photos, plans and drawings made especially for this publication that document and analyze one of Wright's largest and most famous commissions during the period of the 1920s. His work with Aline Barnsdall was extrememly complicated and covered over a decade in his career. My book puts the Hollyhock House in context of the larger commission for Olive Hill. Drawings are reproduced from several sources, mainly the Wright Archives. Hundreds of letters and documents were consulted. A section of color photographs shows the house in detail with fully furnished interior views. This book is a must for the library of every reader interested in Wright. I hope you enjoy it and value it too.

Do not buy this book from Amazon.......2007-01-18

I have no idea whether the book is any good or not, but I would not suggest buying it through Amazon. I ordered this book when I was barely 2 weeks pregnant. Now I am 2 months pregnant and still have not received it. The shipping and delivery date have been changed either 2 or 3 times. My last shipping date was almost a week ago and my newest shipping date is over a month away. There is no point of buying a daily pregnancy journal if you are going to miss whole trimesters. Amazon has really screwed up on this one.
*** UPDATE*** I have decided not to cancel this order just to see when it would finally ship, after-all I do plan on having another baby someday!! I am now half a week shy of being 5 months pregnant, and I received an email today asking for my 4th or 5th approval (again) for delay in shipment and delivery. IF the book arrives within the new delivery dates, I should get my book at about 6 months (remember I ordered this book when I was 2 weeks pregnant). I am starting to get a kick out of this situation...
UPDATE***** Amazon has written me an email canceling this order because they can not acquire the book. I am 6 months pregnant, and this whole debacle has totally turned me off of Amazon considering that when I wrote an email to customer service about it they offered me $5.00 off of my next purchase, but when I went to pay it only applied $4.49 (not even enough to cover the shipping). I think I just may be done with Amazon altogether.

going back for #2.......2005-05-07

I used this book for my first pregnancy. I liked that it had everything organized by week, but the way it's designed, you can also just write a free form summary of the whole week. To me, that was better than writing daily. There's a notes section at the bottom of the page that lists weight, diet, exercise, habits and next dr's appt. It also shows development milestones for both mother and baby each week, as well as helpful hints. It also has six weeks worth of after-the-baby-comes pages.

I looked at other books available and decided to go with this one again. It's hardcover (not spiral or paperback) and is sturdy, plus why mess with a good thing?

It's going to be interesting for me to now go back and compare my new pregnancy to my old.

An ideal gift for first-time moms!.......2001-11-18

This pregnancy diary is divided into the three trimesters beginning with the first week of pregnancy and ending 6 weeks after birth. It gives a brief week-by-week synopsis of the changes the mother-to-be should expect to experience in her body along side a weekly summary of the baby's development. It also provides weekly helpful tips and hints on subjects such as lifestyle and alternative healthcare. There is a section for documenting weight, diet, excersise, habits and the next doctor's appointment. At the back of the book there is a small family tree as well as a place for ultrasound pictures and photographs. Overall, it is a delightful book with space for recording a few lines of writing from mom-to-be each day of this very exciting and memorable time.
