From the supplier: Charitable remainder trusts (CRTs) serve as an extremely useful tax strategy for CEOs who want to minimize their tax obligations. Aside from providing tax deductions, CRTs ensure that CEOs receive a retirement income, eliminate capital gains liabilities, and serve as a means for CEOs to make contributions to their favorite charity. A key advantage offered by CRTs is flexibility in terms of the option to sell CRT fund assets that have appreciated while bypassing liability for capital gains or the option to convert poor-performing assets. The CEO functions as a grantor in a CRT and is the recipient of deductions for charitable income tax as determined from the donated assets form and value, the beneficiaries ages and the charity's classification. Therefore, if the readers can benefit from recognising symptoms of their own issues that have caused problems, then there is the possibility that they can take corrective action before suffering strikes them.
John Smale has created analogies, examples and metaphors for the world and humanity. In this way we can learn afresh by looking at ourselves from a new perspective and overcome problems.

Look, this book was supposed to come out a few years ago and now it's going on 2006 and it still hasn't been completed. All of y'all might as well forget it because the book ain't ever going to come out.
The Waiting Game.......2005-01-30
When on earth will this book be published? It was originally scheduled to be published in 2002. The dates kept changing and we have yet to see "Blame It On Vanity" surface. At this point, I'm giving up. It's such a shame. It's such a great story for Denise to share.

If you're lead by God to do a thing, "the thing" is already a huge succees.
Vanity,is from the 80's music scene, filled with sex overtones, lingerie clothing as a fashion trend (started by her ex- boyfriend, Prince) her hits "Nasty Girls" and lyrics like "he made such a pretty mess on my dress". Helped make Vanity a forerunner to todays stars like Brittney Spears.
Her new devotion to God and her ministry' sets a perfect example
of where young girls may find the peace, real love and true happiness which elude many of them during their early 20's or in their night-clubbin' days (daze).
As an author of christian books [The 1 Hour Bible] I realize people want christian writers to tell the truth. For Vanity to go from a life of glamour, wealth, fame and idol status and yet turn away from it -to seek God, is the makings of a perfect book.
I hope this goes into Film or TV as well, to reach more people.

Straightforward and practical.......2003-01-26
Having no formal training in marketing, I was impressed by the straightforward way this book explains how to write a marketing plan. At times I'm tempted to go straight to the tactics-where should I advertise? What should I charge?-but this book prompted me to go back to the beginning, starting with my small business's situation, goals, and competition. This was the first time I've drafted a highly detailed, full-year marketing plan. I used the software packaged with the book as a starting point, but wound up creating a different format and order of topics for my finished plan.

Although I've been in marketing for more than a decade, I got a lot out of this book. The checklists provided invaluable pointers about what to cover when writing a marketing plan. I also bookmarked many of the web sites listed in the appendix so I can use them for further research. The author peppers every chapter with lively, in-depth examples that sparked a couple of new ideas for my business. Even the sample marketing plan in the back of the book was a helpful guide for fleshing out my own thoughts. Highly recommended!

this book is a great supplement to any intro marketing textbook or by itself -- taking you step by step through the process of writing a marketing plan. a practical book for anyone interested in learning/understanding how basic marketing concepts come together, or any new product managers out there not wanting to look like homer simpson ("DOH") when asked to write your first marketing plan. it'll help you frame your thoughts, create an outline of things to cover, and remind you of things you might otherwise forget to include. also serves as a great "cliff notes" type reference of the hefty marketing textbooks you devoured while in b-school.

This bio-bibliography catalogs more than 300 musical compositions of the prolific American composer, Daniel Pinkham. The compositions reflect Pinkham's success at securing commissions from a variety of individuals and organizations, and span his entire career to date as composer, performer, and teacher. The volume commences with a biography, and then supplies a complete catalog of works and a selected listing of performances. A discography of commercially produced recordings follows, with numbers corresponding to those in the previous sections. The final section is a bibliography, which is divided into two parts. The first part lists references to general reviews of Pinkham's work or reviews of more than one composition; the second part consists of reviews of specific pieces. As before, the pieces are cross-referenced to the preceding sections. The volume concludes with four appendixes: a list of works arranged chronologically by date of composition; an alphabetical list of works; the literary texts used in the works, listed by author; and biblical sources of the texts.
