Small-and medium-sized manufacturing firms are commonly acknowledged to be the driving force in economic development. Oftentimes, the most crucial decision affecting their future growth is whether to expand into foreign markets, a decision that is inextricably linked to the method of market entry. Managing Export Entry and Expansion brings together prominent researchers representing ten countries to examine the most important issues related to how and why firms expand overseas. Presenting empirical studies conducted in the 1980's a time of sharp change in international trade, the contributors describe exporting as it is practiced by companies at different stages of development in different industries, and to and from different countries. In addition, the strategies discussed for achieving the best exporting results can be implemented by firms and by those responsible for stimulating exports, such as government and trade associations.

Great learning material.......2006-06-06
Technical Analysis is a great source for understanding and reading charts. It provides mechanical steps for each element of the chart, and builds on itself as you move forward. There are practical exercises at the end of each section for you to test yourself. It's great for wanting to know all the technical terms and financial jargon when analyzing patterns. Most textbooks that you read during school give you the information, plus a long-winded explanation followed by countless examples that provide more than what is necessary for you to know. With this book, it is straightforward and to the point with each technique that it introduces. I recommend this for anyone who wants to read technical charts like a pro.

A Great book for the beginner........1999-01-08
As a futures broker, from time to time, I find it difficult to explain the different methods of technical analysis to my novice customers. This book does a great job teaching the fundamentals of Technical analysis. I now recommend this book to all of my customers who need help understanding the basics. (I have, on occasion bought it for them) Another excellent book by the same author is called "Futures: A Personal Seminar". Both books are great for beginners. In THE CLOSING, Canty O'Neil is a real estate agent in Wynton, Georgia, who has the chance of a lifetime to help Burke McGuire, a developer's agent, buy land to build a fabulous golf course that will attract wealth, jobs and people to the small town. It doesn't hurt that Burke is a handsome man either. Canty has generally been unlucky in love but she sees possibilities in Burke. The only problem is the land she needs to acquire for Burke is owned by the Ponders, an isolated, anti-social family given to shooting at trespassers. Queen, the older sister, is the only Ponder with a little sense and even she carries a rifle. Smith and Terrell, the insane twins, have a shotgun they regularly use to terrorize the townspeople. Pauly, a younger brother, is hopelessly retarded, as a result of inbreeding that has been going on in the Ponder family for generations. Tension is added when Burke and Canty need the sheriff, who is in love with Canty and jealous of Burke, to help back off the Ponder men as they attempt to negotiate the land price and terms with Queen. Will Canty be able to get around the Ponder twins and purchase the land? Can she capture Burke's heart?
There are laugh-out-loud moments as Canty deals with the Ponders, Burke and the sheriff. In this tight story, there are many moments of tense action as the Ponders terrify Burke and the town of Wynton while Queen attempts to come to the rescue. It is a look into the mountain culture that we hear whispers about but really isn't explored much in literature. Dagmar Marshall has done a good job of creating characters such as Canty, the sheriff and Burke, which anybody can identify with, and the Ponders are downright fascinating. There are some editing issues, such as missing or misplaced quotation marks and missing words that break the flow of the story in places; otherwise, it is a fun read.

You get what you pay for........2007-09-02
I chose this particular real estate exam book because it was less expensive than the others the store had. When I took the first exam, I found out why. One more than one question, the answers were incorrect. That is, the correct answer would be A, but when you chose A, the screen would say, "Incorrect! The answer is B!" and then *state that the correct answer was the text of A*. Clearly this was a typographical error, whoever put it together typed in the wrong letter for the answer, but they really should have checked it better than that. There were also a few questions where instead of the usual explanation, there would only be a couple of words; one example, from a question about the Real Estate Commission, said simply, "The Real Estate". Apparently the people who put this together occasionally just forgot to type in the entire answer!
There are many CD-ROM books out there to help you study for this exam. Use a different one.

Great Pictures & Quick History.......1999-12-14
I bought this book mostly for the pictures, because I'm an artist and like to draw from photos. The book has lots of interesting photos, most of which I have never seen. The text isn't very in-depth [which it shouldn't be, since it's a thin book] but it gives a general history of the band. This isn't the book to get if you're looking for in-depth information, but it's great for Radiohead fanatics or for those who like to look at the band.

With its tight covers, every radiohead lover i know spent most of their time reading the book trying not to break the front page off! For those of you who don't know much about Radiohead or have any pictures etc. it's a good investment. However, most people who've bought one book, have bought them all and there's nothing much different here. All the pictures are taken from else where but for a few exceptions, and the information is already in circulation. This book does however have the BEST DISCOGRAPHY in the world though. Although this review is short and sweet and not too complementary, as a Radiohead fan i suggest you buy it just to add it to the collection. You should also buy it if you're interested in knowing more about the band and have no info. It is a good cross reference of all the info given in about 4 books, all put into one! we hope you are ok. thankyou for listening.
Great pictures... overall, a great book for the best band!!.......1998-04-01
This book is full of wonderfull pictures of Radiohead. There were few mistakes in the actual text of the book. The only thing i really noticed that was a bit weird is the fact that when they were commenting on Radiohead in 1997 for example, they used older pictures instead of newer ones from 1997. but the pictures they used were great. The information wasn't too impressive. Most of it, i already knew. but any book about Radiohead is okay to me.
