in his first book, mr. patel tried to write something he obviously knew nothing about. which only proved he is destined for life on the streets. and that he smells.

Don't buy this book unless you want to turn out like me. This book got me fired from 4 consecutive jobs. I panhandle now. This book also got me divorced and then orphaned my children. Reasonably priced though.

I honestly do not know what the author is talking about. In every chapter he just beats about the bush without providing any useful information.

If it is a chapter on Tradescape (the title of the chapter is actually Tradescape) - the author provides a snapshot of the screen and goes on talking in general terms about investment portals, ECNS, their usefulness, price consideration, history, anything except how to use Tradescape.

If it is chapter on SOES - it does not have any reasonable description of how it works and what to do with it from either technical or trading perspective. The only two pieces of information which are provided in the chapter on SOES are completely wrong - i.e the book says that the maximum number of shares in SOES transation is 100 when it is actually 1000. 5 minute rule is also interpreted incorrectly - the author does not explain that the transactions in the opposite direction are allowed within 5 minutes (i.e buy after sell or sell after buy).

I did not find a picture of Level II screen in the whole book. How can one possibly talk about SOES, SelectNet, SuperDot, ECNs without even showing what information is available on Level II.

What a piece of junk!

This well-documented life of Samuel Wesley gives a vivid picture of the life of a professional musician in late eighteenth and early nineteenth-century London. Wesley was born in 1766, the son of the Methodist hymn-writer Charles Wesley and nephew of the preacher John Wesley. He was the finest composer and organist of his generation, but his unconventional behaviour makes him of more than ordinary interest. He lived through a crucial stage of English music from the immediately post-Handel generation to the early Romantic period, and his large output includes piano and organ music, orchestral music, church music, glees, and songs. He also taught and lectured on music, and was involved in journalism, publishing, and promoting the music of J. S. Bach. This book draws on letters, family papers, and other contemporary documents to offer a full study of Wesley, his music, and his life and times. PHILIP OLLESON is Professor of Historical Musicology at the University of Nottingham. He has edited The Letters of Samuel Wesley: Professional and Social Correspondence, 1797-1837, is the joint author (with Michael Kassler) of Samuel Wesley (1766-1837): A Source Book, and has written extensively about other aspects of music in England in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

An Inferior Source for Information on Eichmann.......2004-10-17

It would, perhaps, be unfair to say there is no value in the book for those who are interested in Eichmann. However, Sachs' book in a very inferior source, in part because it is poorly researched, and sometimes the author seems to have a poor grasp of the meaning of her research materials.

The author's comments in the editorial section above, which completely mischaracterize the arguments made by Hannah Arendt in her book on the Eichmann trial and which also suggest that Sachs holds the ridiculous belief that Arendt had something to do with crafting the arguments used by the Defendants in the Nuremberg trials, should give any potential reader pause.

A Deep Perspective Through Brevity.......2001-02-27

Although this book is written for the adolescent student, do not let its brevity fool you. Ms. Sachs went to the heart of the matter of the life of Adolf Eichmann, his association with the Nazi Party, and the stamp he placed on history in connection with the unnecessary slaughter of European Jews in the 1930s-1940s. The weight of this book leans towards Eichmann's simple nature, yet shows how ironically this simple man played an important role in a complex scheme of death. My highest commendations for this work in these days of plurality and remembrance.
