This book thoroughly explains the principles behind using your mind to create wealth. Some books just explain how to go about it, but having conscious understanding of the process will greatly contribute to the proper worldview and beliefs that will help you to create the wealth you desire much faster. When you have the understanding, then you don't need to have blind faith or hope that what you do with your mind will work - then you will know that it works and will expect the results.
The book will also guide you step-by-step through the "how" to use your mind to create wealth. It does contain everything you need to know and you merely need to apply the information.

I love the way Cody Horton writes. "Consciously Creating Wealth" is easy and enjoyable to read. If you honestly open your mind when you read it, your eyes will be open to perceive a new dimension of truth. I think it's the best book of this genre.

Consciously Creating Wealth is one of the best books in this genre. I have been a long-time follower of the human consciousness movement and mind power, and have read and studied the work of Troward, Haanel, Murphy, Swartz, Wattles, N. Hill, G. Behrend and many more. In comparison I found Consciously Creating Wealth to be more updated. Additionally Cody Horton's style is very enlightening, refreshing and easily understandable - all of which are key to understanding this important message.

If you like to write affirmations, "visualize" yourself as wealthy, and do a lot of "thinking" about being successful, this is your book.

Very fine book on the dynamics of modern capital.......2006-08-25

A very well written work. I wanted to learn about markets, invested a few hours in reading this book and learned everything from "what is a derivative, really?" to "what does that mean, really?" I'm lucky to have found this book when I did.

I also like the texture of the book - the paper is unusually smooth.

Painful reading........2006-07-14

If you want to learn about derivatives and their influence on the economy, the banking system and society in general: don't buy this book.

This book was written by two anthropologists and you have to be an academic yourself to understand what they are saying. However, even if you understand these people the book has little value, because the authors just ventilate opinions with virtually no facts to back them up. There are very, very few references. There is no single graph, illustration, table or bullet list.

The book does give some (unsupported) useful insights. However, you can also get those by just searching the Internet, in that case you do not have to work through 200 pages of painful reading.

It is sad that this book is of such a poor quality. Derivatives do a form a danger to the current financial system. Ordinary people are also at risk, because of fiat money and of fractional reserve banking. Fiat money has no intrinsic value, the value depends on how others value it. Fractional reserve banking means that the bank does not hold your deposit (savings) for safekeeping. They just use it for making loans. If the bank goes bankrupt you loose your deposit.

interesting strategy.......2000-07-06

Too short , easy read, very clear. His stragegy is a portfolio of just 3 or 4 sector funds. 30 % in Financial, 30% in Technology, 30% in Small Companies and 10% in cash inside a tax saving plan, with regular monthly contributions for "dollar cost averaging". This would provide 20% average yearly return versus usual market 12% with a little more risk The 10% cash is supposed to be there to take advantage of market dips, but he does not expand on this. Also he does not mention anything about rebalancing portfolio occasionally. I have been investing in mutual funds for 15 years. I found the book interesting and plan to make some changes to my portfolio based on the book.

This book addresses the contractural matters of the timber business very well. I was very interested in the tax and trust portions and was very pleased with the fairly recent subject matter. Real world information with guidance of what to avoid and how to enter into the timber markets.

Unblushing account of diabetes.......2004-01-23

A candid account of one man's victory over diabetes. I especially liked how the author injected humor into his autobiography -- "Needles" and "Sticks" have been given a colorful new meaning to those of us with the disorder.
