Misleading title, but good nonetheless.......2005-11-27
Silly me! I thought that this book covered forming a corporation, etc., in Indiana.
It's a good book; it's just not what the title describes. It appears that the author wrote a number of books with different state names. I haven't read any except this one, but I expect that they are all the same except for the title.
I was looking for advice that is specific to Indiana, since I can buy any number of generic books like this. I was mislead. For example, on page 28, under the heading, "File Your Paperwork," the author tells us, "Some states also require that ...". Notice that the reader is not told how it is done in INDIANA!
In spite of the misleading title, it is still a worthwhile book that explains how to create the legal entities. I give it four stars because of the deception.

Customer Reviews:
It's interesting to hear Napoleon Hill explain his life strategies........2007-06-07
Apparently, Napoleon Hill's recording is in the public domain as this is a low cost mass produced cd with mp3 files. I envision someone burning dozens in their basement and selling them online. I bought it; it works, the content is great.
Really Great and Really Works!.......2007-04-06
If you're feeling discouraged or lacking direction, listen to this and other recordings like it. I like this one better than "Think and grow rich." Napoleon Hill has good guidance to keep you on track towards success and words that will lift your spirits and drive away the dark, negative thoughts that try to drag you down into failure. I think this recording should basically replace the bible. This IS my bible.
Lately, I have started asking my subconscious to give me guidance on what to do, to tell me what the best course would be to get to my goals. I recently started out with a certain business plan, but soon after I started, I realized that plan was seriously flawed. It would require too much work for too little profit. So I asked my subconscious to give me a better plan. I did this by visualizing getting the exact success I wanted. Within a day or two, I got a much better business plan from my subconscious. Then I asked for further help with the plan and I got that also. Now all the pieces are falling into place, and NOW, finally, it looks to me like success is imminent and I know exactly what I'm doing. I have recently studied marketing a lot, and I've also studied my particular field of business and thought about it. Then I left it up to my subconscious to process that information and give me the best plan to follow to achieve my goals. It all seems so easy now.
I used to be skeptical about using the power of my subconscious, but if you put yourself in a totally positive frame of mind and free yourself from doubts and fears, and then use the visualization techniques to see your success, then it DOES WORK. You open your mind to your subconscious and allow it to give you the answers you need - the direction and steps you need to proceed to your goals. You cast off your psychological limitations and allow yourself to proceed rapidly towards your goals. NEVER doubt your abilities. Do not worry about anything. But at the same time, act prudently, do your research, and use all the wisdom you've learned. Don't act foolishly or recklessly. Know what you're doing. Don't guess when you're starting a business.
Make sure you have plenty of paper and write down plenty of notes while you listen. You learn FAR better that way. Also it's nice to use pens of many different colors and alternate between them. Your notes stand out much more that way.
Your Right To Be Rich.......2007-02-28
If more people spent less time watching tv and more time educating themselves through these live lectures they would find more energy and probably get more excited about life, you only go round once. Life is an education and these recordings are straight to the point. The old ones are the best, most modern day speakers get their info from the likes of Dr. Hill, this audio programme is simply brilliant. I would also recommend the Science Of Personal Achievement and Think and Grow Rich.
Well Worth the Price.......2006-12-19
If you are a Napoleon Hill fan, (I became one not from "Think and Grow Rich" but from "The Master Key to Riches"),this will expound upon the great insights and truths he illuminates in his other works. He gives much more detail on how to pinpoint your definiteness of purpose, key ways to use autosuggestion, (very unclear in his other works), and exactly what consitutes a "mastermind". I also appreciated some of the "negatives" that are not referred to in his other works, such as keeping away from naysayers who will put you down, and the part envy plays in people who have no purpose wanting to sabatoge those who do (not the theme of his lectures, but showing you that his understanding is not a Pollyana type panacea).
All in all, this is more from the greatest genius in self-help. Wonderful~
The Timeless wisdom of Napoleon Hill.......2006-10-16
I am indebted to Napoleon Hill.
The more I immerse myself into his work, the more I appreciate the impact his work has on my life, and on the lives of millions of people, many who may have never even heard of him.
This CD set is priceless, I have purchased more than 10 copies of it for my clients and students.
Buy this set, if Amazon would allow me, I would personally guarantee that listening to it and applying what is inside will transform your life.
Thank you,
John Wingert

Book Description
Praise for Be Smart, Act Fast, Get Rich
"Charles Payne's book is blunt, provocative, and right on the money. This book is a lot like Charles himself: insightful and to the point. If you have time to read only one book on how to make money . . . this is the book."
--Dr. Bob Froehlich, Chairman, Investor Strategy Committee Deutsche Asset Management, and Vice Chairman, DWS Scudder
"Be Smart, Act Fast, Get Rich is a book for all investors from first-time stock buyers to seasoned investors. 'Be Smart' suggests you understand the fundamentals of the company you are purchasing. 'Act Fast' suggests that action must be taken if you are going to increase your wealth in the stock market. All too often we find interesting ideas to invest in but never have the confidence to act, only to watch the stock's price rise while others reap the benefits. This book is an easy read, and a must-read for all investors."
--Tom Dorsey, President, Dorsey Wright & Associates and author, Point & Figure Charting
"You should buy this book just for the super job Charles does in explaining everything you need to know about charts, graphs, and the other 'voodoo' of technical analysis that he makes so simple to understand. Charles really gives you a street fighter's education in the markets . . . I wish his book was around twenty-five years ago . . . it would have saved me millions in market mistakes I've made."
--Tobin Smith, founder and Chairman, ChangeWave Research
Customer Reviews:
BE SMART, ACT FAST, GET RICH.......2007-10-01
Countless times my friends and I would repeat the phrase "If we only had stock in a particular "hot" product that we would be rich." And sadly, not one of us has ever taken the initiative to find out how to actually get into the stock market because we thought only the wealthy could afford the risk of investing.
The author, Charles V. Payne, clearly wants folks to stop making the "fat cats" richer off our spending trends and learn how the stock market works by understanding the concept, the language, and game strategies to enrich our lives and reap those benefits. He "keeps it simple" and "keeps it real" in his thoroughly written, knowledgeable, and witty book, "Be Smart, Act Fast, Get Rich.". It's a winner.
The only way one can get in the stock market game is to play. And why not learn from one of the truly successful men on Wall Street, who hailed from humble beginnings. Throughout his book, as one turns and reads the pages, you can feel his tenacity as he vividly describes his life when he purchased his first mutual fund at age seventeen and later started his own company.
Mr. Payne's book should be required reading for all high school and college seniors before they set out in the real world of financial dealings.
His book is not to be shelved, but used as a every day reference tool for those who delve into the stock market. It's a great gift for family and friends for the holidays, or any day.
Hindsight is 20/20 --count my friends and I in!
The Real Deal.......2007-09-12
This book is truly an educational tool for novices, pros, and anyone in between.Mr.Payne doesn't overwhelm you with sophisticated jargon instead he gives you precious gems in plain English. The explanations for charts and how they should fit into an investors strategy are priceless.I like the way this book approaches the mental aspects of stock investing and the discipline that needs to be exercised. This book isn't for daytrading or options gambling but what this book shows that many others don't is that you can build wealth in a steady manner by being smart, acting fast using the right knowledge and mentality. The stock market market isn't just for the big boys and insiders, it's for anyone who desires more out of life and is willing to work for it.
Fundamentals to live by.......2007-07-25
This book outlines practicle straight forward market knowledge written to focus investors on core fundamentals. Charles discusses this in lay persons terms while pointing out the function of the market from both sides of the street. The good, bad and the ugly. I've been investing for 15 years and it was a terrific tune up confirming many of the things I was doing right as an investor while providing clarity on lapses in my investing habits. This is a must read for all investors.
Get in the Stock Market: It is a Life Long Endeavor.......2007-07-12
As a small investor I work hard to keep track of future market trends. I found Mr. Payne's book to assist me in this endeavor. It logically organized, well written, but most of all an enjoyable read.
The author communicates the point that the stock market is a life long endeavor but most importantly to 'get in the game' because as trends show, the stock market goes up over time.
We also enjoy Charles on Fox News Saturday morning. We are very happy to have our point of view so eloquently presented.
A LOT OF WORDS AND LITTLE VALUE.......2007-07-10
This is a very disappointing book. Charles starts off right, talking about investing rather than trading (99% of us should do the former), but then spends a lot of time talking about trading techniques, chart formations, rumors and short term issues. Even when he talks about the fundamental analysis for finding stocks, he does not seem to be sure exactly what is the key item for asset slection. The charts are just terrible.
He could have written a much better book with half the pages.
In summary, it is a lot of rambling by a guy who is a good talker.
If you want some good books buy Ken Fisher's, "The Only Three Questions, ..." and Joel Greenblatt's "The Little Blue Book...."

Persuasive, inspirational and motivational testimony.......2004-04-13
Knowledgeably written by Henry Wolmarans (an evangelical pastor of 20 years experience), and featuring a forward by Oral Roberts, this newly revised fourth edition of Your Rights To Riches deftly examines a controversial question for Christians: "Is it God's will for Christians to be poor, rich or struggle to get by daily?" Highly recommended for Christians of all denominational backgrounds, and drawing upon nearly 100 scriptures that refer directly to money and material possessions, this significantly revised and expanded fourth edition of Your Rights To Riches condenses an informative Christian viewpoint upon man's obligations to himself, to fellow man, and God in easy-to-read, persuasive, inspirational and motivational testimony.

Guaranteed to please.......2000-06-16
This entire series is fantastic. The recipes are simple enough that those who are kitchen inept can prepare them and delicious enough to please the most sophisticated palate. I especially like the way the books are laid out: the font simulates handwriting as though someone's mom has passed along a favorite recipe and there are lots of great photos so that the end products can be easily envisioned. These recipes circulate endlessly among my friends and are a favorite with my bookclub. Definitely worth buying, for yourself and others!
Book Description
The objective of this textbook is to provide a very basic and accessible introduction to option pricing, invoking only a minimum of stochastic analysis. Although short, it covers the theory essential to the statistical modeling of stocks, pricing of derivatives (general contingent claims) with martingale theory, and computational finance including both finite-difference and Monte Carlo methods. The reader is led to an understanding of the assumptions inherent in the Black & Scholes theory, of the main idea behind deriving prices and hedges, and of the use of numerical methods to compute prices for exotic contracts.
The author's style is compact and to-the-point, requiring of the reader only basic mathematical skills. In contrast to many books addressed to an audience with greater mathematical experience, it can appeal not only to students entering the discipline, but also to many practitioners, e.g. in industry, looking for an introduction to this theory without too much detail.
Customer Reviews:
Option Mathematics.......2006-03-13
This is a highly mathematical introduction to the Option Theory at university level and can be read and understood only with the necessary background in higher mathematics particularly in the field of stochastic analysis. Bearing this in mind, this is a great book for it covers the theoretical background for statistical methods applied to the financial science.
The definitive one.......2004-08-27
If you are really interested on learning quantitative finance this is the first book you must read. Dr Shreve is not only one of the world's leading researcher on finance but also, perhaps, the most pedagogic writer on the topic
If you are looking for a very readable and unvaluable book, you have fond it, buy it!

"Get results. Time or money".......2003-03-16
A "How-to" book, written in order, with liberal does of history thrown it. What a treasure!
As a "honcho" (in my own mind) I enjoyed measuring the author's premises against my own real world experiences. I wish I'd read Sarah's book first.
This book was written to help its readers get results, which for many of us means money and or time. If this approach doesn't work for you, then even the consolation prize is a good deal, i.e., minimal wasted time and money.
It is not a quick read. You have to slow down and study. Enjoy.
This is a good book!.......2003-03-06
This book is an invaluable resource for people, like me, that want to drive companies towards new successes and markets, it provides an enormous number of useful suggestions, methods and real cases. These are always very pertinent, well presented and precise. Please, read this book before writing those preconceived and biased reviews. By the way, in case you didn't know, I am a total idiot.
[Deceit].......2003-03-02
This book is very poor. This is a fact. But what is obscene is the [deceit] that the author with his friends are perpetuating with these "reviews".
One of them even wrote that he made mandatory the reading of this book in his company! Well, that could be a new method to get rid of employees at no cost. Finally, yes this board should prevent these [false] reviews but the main point is that such a poor book shouldn't even be published.
Useless.......2003-02-25
Useless - this was just a long commercial for the author's services. Worse yet, I paid for it. Very little concrete information. Very disapp
History...........2003-02-22
Mark Cronus Says:
"Specific references to reviled figures such as Franco, who 'wore the same clothes as his partners wore' during meetings, are used to convey simple principles such as matching tones with your prospective partners. Or in other words, don't wear a black suit when your prospective partner is wearing jeans"
So anyone that should meet with you or your friend Sarah Gerdes should dress like a clown?

Book Description
1921. This book is a collection of intimate remembrances of the author's brother, Theodore Roosevelt. It is not written as a biography or a political history of the times, although Robinson was careful in her effort to record the facts accurately and carefully searched her memory before relating conversations or experiences. Robinson hopes this work will paint a clear picture of Roosevelt by one who was closest to him and one who knew his loyalty and tenderness of heart.

I also read this book with my daughter. I found it really helpful for the both of us. Some of the suggestions she has taken to heart and has started to practice them with her brother who is high function autisic.
I would reccemond this to anybody who has other children that needs to uderstand about what autism is and can learn about different ways to do things
Good for kids and adults.......2007-03-22
I bought it for my granddaughter who has an autistic brother. I found it useful for myself, because it is not full of psychobabble.
Everybody is different: A book for young people who have brothers or sisters with Autism.......2007-02-13
This book is quite good and explains quite easily to older children, the concept and behaviours of Autism. I think it was a little over the understanding of my 8 year old, but my 12 year old could quite easily gain a better understanding. It would be helpful to read it with your children so you canvdiscuss any siblings concerns, and troubleshooting methods for if you happen to be unavailable.
All for Matthew-.......2007-01-12
My daugher is only 4yrs old so I had to read the book first and water it down. I was surprised by how much she already new about her 6yr. old brother. She said when she grew up she would help me take care of Matthew by giving him a drink, tucking him in bed and singing him a lulaby. She already does alot of talking for him when they meet people.
Great for kids.......2006-06-27
My granddaughter loved the explanations about autism in this book. She is 9, and it is written where she can understand more about the behaviors of her brother with autism. She was even going to take it to school for her teacher to read, and some of her classmates. Many adults would benefit from reading it also.

When Everybody Ate at Schrafft's is a lavishly illustrated book about the Schrafft's restaurant empire and the era in which it thrived. It will bring back memories to former customers and provide recipes from the past, as well as awaken interest for those long-gone days in people unfamiliar with Schrafft's.

The perfect gift for "everybody.".......2007-01-15
Tuna sandwich on toasted cheese bread, hot fudge over vanilla ice cream (and the agony of deciding whether I should choose hot butterscotch), out on a teenage date with my Irish boyfriend. Schrafft's has special memories for so many of us. I discovered this when I presented several friends with the wonderful Christmas gift of "When Everybody Ate at Schrafft's." Everybody loves to receive this treasure.
Remembrance of Things Past.......2007-01-10
I grew up going to Schrafft's every week... It was always magical, and this book brings the magic back!
There are even recipes for my all time favorite Schrafft's specials! All in all, a charming treat for the palate, the eyes, and the memory.
Schraft's lover.......2007-01-10
My mother was the recipient of this gift and she worked in Schraft's in the 40's. She loved the book and it brought back a lot of memories and even taught her a few things she didn't know - a real task with my mother.

Wonderful nostalgia.......2006-10-18
Bring them back...Schrafft's, of course! Brings back memories of Aunt Lillian and Mary Jane shoes!
Fantastic.......2006-09-24
For nearly eighty years Schrafft's was the place to eat in cities around the country: it took the products of a local Boston chocolatier named Schrafft and translated it to comfort food restaurants around the country. Once over fifty such venues peppered just the New York area. From Andy Warhold's wild contribution to the effort to private groups who used the stores, the varied and colorful history of Schrafft's lively venues are fantastic. And don't forget the recipes: they're included and are a large part of what made it a notable venue.

Book Description
In Everybody Belongs, Dr. Arthur Shapiro discusses how negative myths and stereotypes create ingrained prejudices toward people with disabilities. This much-needed text stresses the importance of changing handicapist attitudes and developing a rationale for fostering positive ones. Popular beliefs, myths, and stereotypes are dispelled. Everybody Belongs balances theory with the practical application of ways to change negative prejudices in the classroom.
Customer Reviews:
An excellent and thorough resource.......2000-02-02
Professor Shapiro has provided a first rate addition to the disability literature in this wide ranging and very readable volume. From the need to change attitudes to the historical roots of the oppression of persons with disabilities to the unique problems of special education and many practical suggestions, Shaprio's work is impressive in scope. He has written both a textbook for the field of special education and a reference work useful to all scholars examining disability issues. This book is also a "must read" for policy makers, both in and out of education. As a graduate student in the cultural and intellectual history of disabilities, I expect to make repeated and substantial use of Shapiro's book in the years to come.
A unique, accessible book.......1999-07-21
Where has this scholar been hiding? Shapiro has written a tome on disabilities and the education of teachers and students--the book has sources, resources and is written in a way that engages the reader immediately. a must have for those involved in education
An outstanding book on a timely, important topic.......1999-02-15
Dr. Shapiro has written an excellent book on an important topic -- how to successfully promote positive attitudes toward students with disabilities.
Unless teachers and parents plan for the social as well as the physical and academic integration of students with disabilities, the concept of inclusion in regular education classes will not work. Students with disabilities will be rejected, teased, and ignored.
"Everybody Belongs" is a sensitively written, practical book for making inclusion work. Shapiro's ideas are based on years of experience and a detailed, insightful understanding of the relevant research and the history of disabilities. It is also based on a keen understanding of schools, teachers, and children.

special needs awareness.......2000-06-19
When Derek's teacher announces that a child with cerebral palsy will joining their class, Derek worries about what to do or what to say to her. On an outing with his grandfather, Derek learns how people with special needs are different, yet the same. A good book to use as a springboard to talk to children about persons with special needs.
